  1. ^^ What he said ^^ Beautiful work sir, simply beautiful. G
  2. I have several displays depicting my interests. The North African Campaign is near and dear to me as three family members were involved. Next is my series of builds depicting USMC armor from the very first to the present. I personally served as a Marine rifle company commander but have always loved modeling tanks. Last but not least are my police car builds. I am attempting to build one of every car I drove, as well as cars that interest me. I wish I had the room to create large dioramas or have a wargame table. G
  3. Tom you might be on to something. Many many departments no longer license the reproduction of their respective markings. That and overall expense. G
  4. This one arrived the other day. Oh my, it's a nice one................... G
  5. Good stuff! I too am that color and second that emotion.......................................... G
  6. This is the Concorde I built at least 15+ years ago. I printed the decals on an ALPS printer after scanning department letterhead. When the then chief saw this, he said he liked my door seal design better than the one we had just adopted. I used the wheels from an old Yodel police car kit and made the light bar from toothbrush handles. This t was featured in Terry Jesse's last "Light Commercial" column in that other mag, oh so many years ago. G
  7. What's your contingency plan? Contingency plan? Your backup plan. You gotta have some kind of backup plan, right? No, we don't have a back up plan. This is it. G
  8. The best part is that if Chris doesn't have it, he'll get it. Whenever I get back to "the Lou" I visit CRM. G
  9. Lilo and Stitch. G
  10. You'd like to think so! Now, regardless of the outcome, future evidence, or anything else, it will always look like he destroyed evidence. G
  11. Good grief Harry, take care will ya? G
  12. Even then, I'd need a search warrant. You could give your consent to a search, but I don't know why. Still given the circumstances, destroying the phone when he did was a bit too convenient. G
  13. Very nice! I love the colors. G
  14. A trick I just learned in another thread. Copy and paste the image directly. Good stuff by the way! G
  15. A hands free phone system of some sort is a good thing if you must talk on the phone while driving. There are times I have to while working. The rest of the time, meh........ The issue as I see it is this. Manufacturers keep adding "safety" features to new autos. Drivers begin relying on said features more and more. So much so that they forget the basics in a crucial moment. I've looked at a bunch of new cars lately, I'd rather have Jim's Mustang. What ever happened to simply driving the dam car? Just my 2 centavos, your mileage may vary. G
  16. How about a flying evil monkey? G
  17. The Henderson HL is in the plaza on the north west corner of Sunset and Stephanie. The Galleria Mall is right across Stephanie St. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Hobby+Lobby/@36.06621,-115.047942,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0xec896d9056fe0f2c?sa=X&ved=0CI4BEPwSMApqFQoTCOTw0pzy-MYCFQSViAodASICAg G Thanks for info. True, but when you consider 40% off, plus (usually, for me) no tax, even with the cost of shipping included, can still be a good deal. Perhaps they haven't yet figured out the default behavior of the new software, can be edited as required/desired. oh yeah, thanks I do enjoy the attention of a whiner. I like showgirls........ G

  19. You have to befriend the person in charge of that aisle. Schmooze him or her if possible and you'll see an improvement. My ex showgirl type who runs the department at the Henderson HL is always willing to try and order new stuff. What can you lose? G
  20. Oh my, that's a nice one. G
  21. Now THAT is a hot rod '32. Gorgeous sir, simply gorgeous. G
  22. In 2006, just a year before I left St Louis, we had one of those "straight line" storms. It blew semi's over on the I 270 Chain of Rocks bridge. My pickup was parked at the curb in front of our home. My then wife "got that feeling" and pulled the truck into the driveway just before the storm hit. The tree across the street came down and landed at the curb right where my beloved F150 had been parked. Our roof wasn't so lucky, we had to live in a hotel for a week. I don't miss that. G
  23. I pre ordered Dragons new release of Tiger 131, it should be arriving soon. I plan on buying thew new Rye Models "Tunisian Tiger" which with several Panzer III's will round out my African collection. G
