Smooth and Deadly! Great looking Merc. David G.
  6. Looks fantastic, excellent work! David G.
  7. Looking good. For the chassis paint issue, I suggest masking off the engine and exhaust and shoot it with some Dull Coat. This kit's a little fiddly, but if one takes time picking out the details, it does build into a decent looking model. I'm working on converting one back into a hearse. It's a long, slow process and I got stalled by a couple of issues I don't yet have the skill to address. But seeing yours makes me want to start on mine again. David G.

  10. Another minor update... Custom floor mats! I made them from gasket material and used my printer to make the "embroidery". Again, thanks for lookin' David G.
  11. I'm not going to pretend that I know enough about soldering to admit that it was anything other than luck. Thanks for the JB Weld tip, I'll keep it in mind for the future. David G.

  19. It's time for another update... A test-fit to test the fit. The test-fit revealed a gap between the hood and the front panel. Brass strip and sloppy solder. No more gap! Thanks for taking the time to look. As always, please feel free to post comments, observations, tips and advice. David G.
  20. You've probably been asked this before Ira, but what do you do with these after you finish them? You seem to knock out about one of these per month and I can see one running out of shelf space quickly at such a rate. David G.
  21. Looks great, excellent color choice! David G.
  22. Now there's some rockin' heavy metal! Great work G! David G.
  23. Very Cool! I had the Tyco railroad and slot car combo back in the 70s and enjoyed the heck out of it. David G.
