  15. Yes Mike, I did feel limited by the simplicity of the interior and engine. But I was after a representation of my 1:1, something that captured the "feel of the real". I think I got that so I'm satisfied. I agree with you about the look of bare metal. Thank you for your kind words. David G. Thanks Cliff! David G.
  16. Tom G. Thanks for your support! Obviously, I agree with you on all counts. Thanks, David G.
  17. Thanks Tom. I remember Northfield now- near Twinsburg, right? I lived in Akron for three years before I moved to AZ. David G. Thank you! David G.
  18. Thanks Foxer, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I looked for weeks to find it, I was very lucky there was one to find. The orange stuff I used to mask the wheels is Silly Putty. It's a technique I learned from somebody here on the MCM Forum. David G.
  19. Slam? I live in a desert. It just seems kind of lonely here- not as much activity. Kind of like a desert. Thanks though, I'm glad you like it. David G.
  20. I finally got this one finished! It's the first time I've been able to build a replica of a car I've owned. For the most part, I'm pleased with the way it turned out. Just to recap- Here's what I started with. Here's where I wanted to go. And here's what I ended up with. I'm not sure if I am allowed to move this to the Under Glass section or if it must stay in the Die-Cast Desert. In either case, I'll be updating my personal web page soon with additional images from this project. Now, on to the next project. As always, thanks for taking the time to look and feel free to comment. David G.
