  1. Looks like a great model. Awesome paint work and color choices.
  2. I like that approach to the woody option. Has that ever been done on a model before? Optional wood colors too, this is a definite purchase.
  3. Can't say enough about the quality of products and service from Joseph at Fireball Modelworks. I have a number of his items including these new door handles and they are top notch. Very fine and probably the only actual scale replicas ever made - kit pieces tend to be bulky even of molded separate.
  4. The chassis on the Suzuki kit is really pretty awesome. Falls together and with a little detail, looks great. I finished the bottom end of mine but the rest is still in the box... Cool to see these three together.
  5. Anybody have a good pic of the completed engine?
  6. That 58 Ford has a great box. I have never seen one or the Messerschmitt. I would not be surprised, however, if bidding went fairly high. Japanese collectors aren't afraid to throw down some green, or whatever color the yen is...
  7. Really, the point of who started what doesn't matter. They all got in a brawl at the end of what is supposed to be the pinnacle of sporting events. Bad sportsmanship all the way around. Actually, sometimes I wish we could settle things at work like that.
  8. They include the parts for both versions. They are pretty collectible and generally sell for a pretty penny.
  9. Not only curbside, but the chassis is pretty much a flat plate. Clear glass would be nice - the last Jo-Han crop had green. I hope it still has those massive devals sheets and surfboards.
  10. The difference between a mediocre builder and a good one isn't avoiding mistakes, it's correcting the mistakes we all make and learning from them. It's demoralizing, but you feel so good after you persevere.
  11. Why do you post everything twice twice?
  12. ...and themselves. I was embarrased at the final seahawk's offensive play, the immediate offsides on defense, and then the defensive brawl in the end zone. Unprofessional.
  13. Watch his Skittles "interview". Hilarious.
  14. I had some good chilli during the game.
  15. Golden age? Seems to be! Feels like the mid 90s when AMT was doing models of everything and anything...some of the new kits seem so odd too, the 4L, Trabant Universal, and the above additions of common people stuff...not like the typical Camallenger US market.
  16. Very cool. I actually just picked one of these kits up - it's a very nicely done model.
  17. True. Anarchy and true communism are BOTH perfect - until you add humans.
  18. NPR program said it would cost about $15 million to sit on a tanker for a year.
  19. What?!?!? What's with all the Citroën love??? Those are awsome. The 4L now has all four doors open? Mehari? C'mon.
  20. After considerable thought and more than a few ideas, I will be going with a Dodge Caravan powered by a 600 hp Nissan V8. Here are the kits: Inside Caravan box: I like the Caravan for a number of reasons: it's probably one of the most common cars on the road, it's somewhat aerodynamic (vs some of my other ideas), and it has plenty of room in back for engines and turbos and whatever else...
  21. Prior to this, I had no idea such a rule even existed. I just thought the NFL had a bunch of game balls and that was that. I have watched about 2 games in the last 8.75 years, so unless the Seahawks are in a Super Bowl...
  22. No idea. But the NFL can't prove how much was lost because it's not documented. Oh, I guess the NFL will do anything to get attention...
  23. The NFL now claims they have no record of the psi - the referee who checked them did not record or document the measurements. Huh. The ref just said they were good.
