It's not perfect, but it's the best we have. I've never really had issues beyond user error. Make sure the surface is perfectly smooth. Try to pull it off the sheet without wrinkling it or allowing it to fold onto itself, use a moist toothpick to burnish, polish with soft cloth, use new sharp blade (scalpel blades if you can find them), paint tip of blade black (sharpie), and don't be afraid to remove, discard, and try again. I have also found MM chrome enamel works very well for touch up - small areas you miss or areas that tear while burnishing or on seems you want to hide.

Anybody ever seen anything close to this in 1/25? One of my long term planning projects is a '66 Tempest with the Sprint 6...

You can try Renshape - it is a machinable material - you can sometimes find peices on eBay or go to THIS website and buy a sample kit for $25 (unless you want a 4 by 8 sheet ) The sample kit comes with a bunch of different materials you can try and are small, but large enough for hobby use - a salesman may call you later and see if you want to buy more, just tell him you're just a hobbyist.

Looking great. I like the green color and the combo on the interior. One thing I noticed about the kit is either the valve cover is too small or the head is too big - there shouldn't be that much head showing under the cover. Here is a real engine for comparison:

Yes, you get 12 free pictures with your listing. Funny, does the seller not see $2500 as a large investment? If I am spending that kind of green on something, you better darn well give me ALL THE PHOTOS I WANT!!!! Some sellers think they have the upper hand - yeah, no. The buyer is the one that needs to be accomodated.

I did, when it was the "walking" dead. I got bored when it turned to the "talking" dead. The first two seasons were really pretty good, but I haven't been able to get into it following the governor bit and the extremely hokey "raid" on the town.

Trim decals. Apply decals. Use micro sol. Apply flat clear. I have had fairly good luck with just keeping it simple. I use kit decals and also have a few from Fireball Modelworks, Slixx, and some unknown maker.
