  1. Any HT leads on this one Geoff?
  2. Thanks for that JC, I never even knew he'd got back into any kind of racing.
  3. The Stratos builds up nicely, great to see the Mk2 Escort coming back out though. I wonder who owned the molds when Revell repopped it?
  4. Glad you got one sorted out, they're quite nice for an 80's kit, I had a good look at one before I sent it across the Pond.
  5. Very nice JC, Great scratch building as always. Ford Transit van hauling it down to the Goodwood Revival maybe?
  6. Sometimes when normal bleach won't work, caustic soda does the trick. I wonder if it's got a different name over there?
  7. Nice Geoff, has it got a roof up option?
  8. Halfords have, or at least had Boston Green in rattle cans. You can decant that and use it without thinning if they still have it.
  9. I think they're 20% bigger than US gallons, but why did that even happen?
  10. And how is a gallon of petrol smaller in America?
  11. LOL, plug wires are plug leads, aluminum is aluminium. The boot and bonnet thing gets hard to explain on a rear engine car! We have hoods too, but they're the folding roof on a convertible. Good subject.
  12. Looking great JC.
  13. Gorgeous as usual Geoff.
  14. Any tips on painting wheels and tyres that are cast as one piece JC? My recent first attempt is nothing like that nice.
  15. I'm reading the Tom Bower book called 'No Angel, the secret life Bernie Ecclestone" It's very interesting JC. ISBN 978-0-571-26936-5 is the updated version.
  16. Classic car prices are through the roof again. I saw E-type Jags advertised at well into 6 figures in one of the UK mags last week. And that's in Sterling. God know what a Cobra is worth now.
  17. Great to see you doing the car in scale Mitch, looking good!
  18. I'd like to see more pics of that when you get a chance Don.
  19. Looking good JC.
  20. You'll have to do the Breadvan at some stage JC.
  21. I am surprised, but then again Hamilton wrecked his head for years.
  22. Well I was nearly expecting it in a box from the Postman with a note saying 'please paint it for me' lol Looks great.
  23. Good to see some colour on it Geoff. Nice job too.
  24. Well, just as long as you didn't hurt yourself it's all good! I think this is the first 40's American car you've started?
