  1. Sorry about your Siamese Lee...we had to have ours put down recently she was 21...she had fluid around her lungs and was suffering heart failure. If i was home she had to be with me.
  2. I have no way to post photo of him but we have a Russian Blue cat named Smokey...he want to build too...once he can find all the parts he has hidden?
  3. Aug the 7th will be 21 years for me and mine......I have learned to accept being wrong...LOL!...
  4. That is AWESOME Charlie ....I have the same old build up of my dads...need to find the rear bumper and taillights for it someday. Now these are from the hay day of models in my opinion...cant wait to see what it looks like after the resto.
  5. Welcome Dale!... Autoworld catalogs man that brings back memories for me...staring at the old Johan and MPC kits wishing i had the money to buy them. I will be 50 very soon too...WOW...amazed I made it this far...LOL...
  6. It is advised to wear rubber gloves like the medical field does and not to let it dry on the plastic but it will clean her up...use it all the time myself.
  7. Yep she was quick Jesse...was my pride and joy but had to sell her off after my accident to get by...still miss her..hoping to find a model of a 75 TA someday so I can make a replica of her.
  8. Sometimes you have to take it passed straight or warped the opposite way then let cool and release to see if it worked...trial and error method here...good luck.
  9. I hope hes building in heaven...RIP.
  10. Tulio....That is just BEAUTIFUL...!!!
  11. Daniel... The movie car was an auto in the interior shots and for the most parts but the ones where they did burnouts and took off running are 4 speeds if you listen very carefully you can tell. Mine had a TH350 trans with a shift kit and special torque converter,etc...had a TH400 in it once that was built but snapped the output shaft getting into it hard when shifting from 1st to 2nd...that made a mess...LOL... I had it on a track once did 157.3 was my best time and fast enough for me. I had a 4speed for it but never used it the auto was just quick enough for me. My rear tires had screws to hold them to the wheels spun one off bead once...yep it was fun.
  12. Very cool... I love building replicas of passed family rides myself.
  13. I think the body style is too square for anything rounded?
  14. If it were me id just build it as is...will always be something different that way...pretty cool.
  15. Helmut...That is cool you got another one...nothing like getting to revisit ones childhood days. I am lucky to have a few of my childhood models and my dads oldies--my house got broken into a couple of days before Christmas...thankfully they did not find or damage them all....nothing like remembering the good old days
  16. Your welcome Daniel... I have built a few cars up too...its very satisfying to hear them when done and nothing like the feeling of doing it yourself. many years ago i owned a really beefed up 75 Trans Am....loved that car. 0.30 over 400ci, 472 lift 512 duration cam, ram air heads and exhaust manifolds...she would really run.
  17. Rob...maybe a 427 Corevette style hood scoop or block style bulge ?
  18. Sure you can... I have many times myself. many trailers are so close it never would matter if there a 1/25th or 1/24th scale there usually really close to anything in the 2 scales anyway. Non semi truck trailers are a generalized scale anyway...I find semi trailers close as well.
  19. There was a kit out with the wedge ramp style bed for a pickup.
  20. Now that is good use of extras Al.
  21. Daniel.... Very nice work!...looks great...like your Mustang too.
  22. VERY NICE...!!!
  23. One around here would be...nearest one is 125 miles one way.
