  1. Rob...the 71 to 77 vans had basically the same body where in 78 they got ugly...at least in my opinion. The 77 is a good kit remember building one when I was a kid...think I built all the Dodge vans back then...would love to again sometime. I have the 71 window van and Chevy motor home ones but they need a lot of parts to rebuild or replace missing parts to them. I once owned a mid 70s factory custom Dodge van...hoping to build one I have like it once the needed parts are found to. The Chevy motor home one needs all the raised roof parts replaced must be a tube or two of glue just on whats left of the top parts???...these are VERY cool kits.
  2. Nice...I like the big wing cars.
  3. Those sound cool Rob but for me it would be a HUGE load of happiness if the MPC 71 to 77 Dodge vans or the 70s Chevy mini motor home van made a comeback....would have to have several of each!!!
  4. I would love to but rarely can... For me it would be... 60s Station wagons campers 4 doors early to mid 70s Dodge vans Johan kits..even snap tite ones Any 60s long big bodied cars Never get tired of them.
  5. If rebuilding an old build up...make sure you never spray a Lacquer over an Enamel...very bad things can happen to the plastic.
  6. Looks pretty cool....man I wish they would put the correct trunk spoiler in the 70 to 72 kits i have three that need the proper one.
  7. Gary....anything odd or different would be cool to me.
  8. Hi Keldom....welcome!
  9. I like it both ways Tulio ...sweet work!
  10. I like it Bruce....with a engine like that it would be nothing but fun.
  11. I have no problem with lack of desire or motivation to build...even on major projects. Its the driving me nut to look at them waiting to find parts they need...its kind of like fingernails on a chalkboard thing.
  12. I had the same kind of problem this morning Joe...had to take the wife to work and even with 2 800amp batteries and a 305ci it still did not want to start but finally managed to get it going...windchill temps here are -30
  13. WOW...!!! Way COOL build...!!! reminds me of some of the old early hot wheels cars...very cool and great work!
  14. Cool idea Dave...I have no idea how to do that with a scale jug other than to maybe do a light wash on the part of the jug to where it would be part full???
  15. I have the same project...trying to build a replica of my old mid 70s Dodge factory sold custom van I had many years ago. You might try to find or google some old custom van mags for reference photos...cant remember what company did the conversion on my old one at the moment...it was beautiful though.
  16. I love those Rob!!!....very very cool!!! I use to own a 75 Trans Am...awesome!
  17. X 2....our city has suspended all snowplowing till the storm passes here...its still at it so far.
  18. Great work...sadly people do live like this and its all they know.
  19. I like them Doc....!
  20. With me most of mine are used or second hand kits/models...usually they get sidelined due to lack of needed parts to complete them/restorations/conversions/etc....have many waiting for their time to come.
