I like it been wanting to build one like it for awhile myself....maybe wheels on rig dull-coated a bit or scratched up rusty??? I like the theme lots and good use of non-repairable models.

I can send photos to my home computer and e-mail them but never figured out how to transfer them to the site or other places.

Remember to test fit everything on it--before and after painting....most had fit issues but could be fixed.

restoring promo cars if there not too badly damaged I can make them like new again...problem is I like it....LOL...

I have a 68 and 69 from my dads old collection planing on restoring sometime...sorry no photos.

All I got was 8 stitches in my right thumb....was not good

Many go into cases or boxes they came in once built....some will get rebuilt later on in the future when I need something to do. Some will stay in their cases for as long as I am around.

I still have the Yellow one with the phantom superbird option...Id welcome any of the old MPC kits that have not seen the light of day in over 20 years or more.

Dave....You can google the real thing and see them and what colors/options they had... I'm not real sure myself on those. Year ago a friend of mine owned a Black one with a White stripe 340-4speed and a flat hood.

Id love to have 1/2 of those wagons and 4doors....I love the 60s to mid 70s wagons and 4doors....would rather have them than muscle cars anytime. I always wanted to build wagons like we owned when I was a kid...have a few but not many.

Drew... keep at it you will get it...happens to me all the time but I never give up. I take my time doing everything...if i have a problem i just sit back and look at the problem from a different perspective and the answer shows up for it.

Hey George.... you might need to change your Purple Pond after time it seems to loose its strength and needs replaced. With fresh PP I have never had a problem stripping any paint. Brake fluid is the same way needs replaced at times. Hope it helps.

Very nice!... I think Id have to do the car as a curb-side too....I am good with curb-sides myself.
