  1. Steve buddy...thanks for the information...it was a SJ model must have been the 428ci one then. It ran so hard it was unbelievable...loved that thing. I have a 69 and a 70 model but they both need a lot of parts yet before i can do anything with them.
  2. Nice build..! I remember building this kit as a kid it was not a easy one but its still a cool little truck model.
  3. We once owned a 69 and a 70...thinking the 69 was a 455ci..4 speed car..real beast too. Id love to build replicas of them someday and others we once owned.

  5. Dann...those are way out of my range..LOL.. I would like to build a 007 diorama sometime though. I have a few movie house give a ways they gave out years ago...scale figures set..the personal underwater jet ski looking things used in the movie Thunderball. I tried to get the Little Nelly chopper but it was lost in overseas mail somewhere.

  11. Art... I have used it for years now...just take the advise from everyone here and things will be all good. Never put chromed parts in it though it will remove the plating.
  12. Id like to find enough to the dozer to make a old track crane with...maybe add a grapple claw to it.

  14. Another old mechanic trick is to run a flexible magnetic pickup tool down the drain and see if you can retrieve the spring...might be possible after a few tries ?...cant hurt to..?
  15. I like the Mountain Goat one and the mini bike extra in the Elcamino kit too Bruce...Id love to be able to make a replica of my old custom 75 Dodge van someday.

  19. You can always look to see if you can find one of the snap kits they had the short fleetside beds. Me...I need to find someone with a old 60s/70s junkyard...I have many I need to find stuff for.
  20. John...I have polished the bodies on them before but normally I do it to the old promos I restore...its not hard unless there is any body damage.or there scratched up. I never could post photos but have some I have done.

  22. I like it..! I have been wanting to do a few myself...the first one with be a 65 Dodge Telephone service van once I find or make what all will be be needed for it...love to put a phone booth by it once done.
