Motor City's 1973-5 Ford Econoline van
disabled modeler replied to Eshaver's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Oh yeah..! Thanks Tom that is the one id like to have a couple of scale ones of for some dioramas...they would be perfect for the builds. I doubt I have the skills or access to the supplies needed to make them around here though...still might have to give that a try. -
That is a hard one but for me personally I get them to build and enjoy them...some may sit for many years till i figure out how Ill build them or wait till the right time to build them when the plan for them comes to me...colors..etc. if you have always wanted to build one and got a hold of one Id say why not build it...dreams are meant to be seen.

Tires...Tires...and more Tires!
disabled modeler replied to 3dscaleparts's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Yes..! I would also love to have some of the old 60s/70s 1/25th scale MPC style 70 series width tires with a whitewall on them for dozens of restorations I have to do...skinny one just cant cut it look dumb on them to me. id also like to see someone do some 1/25th scale off road semi tires and loader tires. -

What kind of builder are you?
disabled modeler replied to Mike77's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
id love to build more but I guess I am a challenged builder and restorer to a point....lack of funds and lack of needed parts holds me back way too much...its not good for the motivation one bit or to help my time pass by. I have around 100 old ones that were my dads and many projects that need something before I can go any further along with them and the budget wont allow me to go to ebay and look for them...real bummer. -
Ken..Nice stuff..! I love that Vega promo..!

My toy Truck from when I was a kid
disabled modeler replied to mchook's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
To me it would be a real timepiece to have just as it is if it were me. Sure people restore things and they look great but the history is pretty much lost...and its autographed . -

Cool project Dan....I like the camper touch too. We need more campers and motorhome kits to add to our collections of builds...I know I do anyway.
