Ether way even if its not 100% accurate its going to be cool. Id like to make a replica of our 84 Chevy Silverado 4x4 long bed sometime...I already have the previous issue of the 4x4 short bed GMC pickup for the base model. The bed and grille with be the real challenge for me. -
Welcome Gregory...! I have built all my life and I use to drag race too years ago.

Matthew... I want to make a replica of my old 75 TA if I can ever find the needed parts to make one with...been wanting to do it since I had to sell her off after my accident in 96...I loved that car.

Nice..! The only difference between a 74 and 75 is the 75 has turn signals in the grilles and the larger rear window. -

Me too...you know they would sell well. I just hope maybe they can bring it back for us someday..???? There are too many that need to be reissued that haven't yet that would sell very well.

Reliving your modeling youth
disabled modeler replied to ratdoggy's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have been trying to relive my modeling youth ever since I became disabled and now have more than enough time to build them even though I really never stopped building. It would be very nice to find some I once had or could never get as a kid...would be great for the memories...maybe make me feel like I did as a kid for a bit..LOL.. Some..I know Ill never be able to find or afford but one has to try right..??? -
WOW..! Very nice collection Greg..! You have some I have been after for many years now...your a lucky guy.

I like it Dan....that resin grille is close to the one my 1 to 1 truck has its a 84 Chevy Silverado. The resin grille looks nice and looks to be a Scottsdale grille to me..?
