  1. Thanks Carl and Jeremy!
  2. I found the wiper motor on an old AMT Dodge Challenger firewall and I added a power brake booster. More GTX to come...
  3. Interesting! I submitted a request several months ago and after two weeks I got a reply stating that they will replace the parts for free since they were "short shots". After another three weeks, I got my parts in the mail. If they have the parts in stock, they send them out. If they don't have them, they'll wait for the product to return to stock to get the parts unless the product is not to be returned to stock.
  4. Thank you guys for the responses! Bill Redwood, good job on a nice model!
  5. Thanks EMRE! You are correct as 225 HP was considered a lot back then! And, today that is a little bit of horsepower when compared to a 2022 Mustang GT at 450 HP!
  6. Thanks Joseph!
  7. Thanks Carl! I haven't been working on this project like I should. I haven't felt like like working anything like I should, so some projects have languished.
  8. Ok Roger! But, I call trimming as modification. Besides, I don't have an AMT '67 Fairlane in my stash. It has been built already.
  9. I finally painted the '69 GTX with Tamiya TS-6 Matt Black. Next will be Gloss Clear over the Matt Black to bring out a glossiness to the paint. More GTX to come...
  10. Wow! I had placed this on the back shelf for a short time and I got responses from a month ago. Sorry guys! This project is not finished. A little time spent on the Stumptown Mustang this morning. I "weathered" the body with Model Master Camouflage Gray and my my Badger 150 airbrush. Now to finish this! Dex Parios will return...
  11. If I have to modify a chassis to fit, I might as well go ahead and use the kit chassis.
  12. I have the AMT '69 Torino Cobra model kit No. 31745-1HD and I decided to look at the kit and I discovered that the chassis does not line up with the fender openings. If I line up the rear of the chassis with the fender openings, the front holes are off by 1/8 inch and vise-versa. Has anyone else come across this? I have had this kit in the stash for a while now and the store that sold it to me has long since gone out of business. I do have a solution to this issue and I will implement it when I decide to build the kit. Has anyone else discovered this?
  13. Looking good, John! I have the Revell '67 Chevelle SS396 molded in Marina Blue.
  14. I rebuilt it over on the old SA forum, but not here.
  15. I would check with the Auto Color Library for colors and Pontiac Engine Colors for paint details.
  16. Looking good Jeremy! Looking forward to more! I built the ZZ Top '33 Ford many years ago. Just rebuilt it a couple of years ago. It's a decent kit, but not the best one out there.
  17. Looking good, John! I built the Revell '68 VW Beetle several years ago as the first car McNally, Boston PI got when he was a teenager.
  18. I did some detailing on the front grille, rear trunk lid and the taillights. Then I started taping the hood for the Performance Hood Treatment. More GTX to come...
  19. Just found this and It is an excellent job done!
  20. Thank you Jeremy and James!
  21. I had forgotten to post it on the WIP page. It is there now for all to read! Sorry about that, Chief!
  22. Thank you David! The Build My '97 Dodge Caravan LE is completed and posted in Under Glass. I would like to thank all those who have viewed and commented on my WIP. The Story McNally arrives on the scene only to discover the cops hiding behind their SUV. Jack Tirana has taken to shooting at the cops and threatening to take Teresa's life if they don't leave. The cops have called for SWAT and a hostage negotiator to come a take over for them. McNally tries to talk to Jack and he doesn't respond. The hostage negotiator arrives and demands that McNally move his car and leave and he will take over. McNally moves his car and drives around the block and sneaks over to the far side of the house and he removes a screen and crawls in through the open window and quietly sneaks into the kitchen. When he is about 8 feet away from Jack, he turns around and McNally shoots him before he could shoot McNally with his drawn gun. McNally cuts the duct tape from Teresa's wrists and ankles after he had checked to see if Jack was dead and pick up his revolver. He moves the table that was blocking the side door and he hands over Jack's gun to the cops and takes Teresa over to a waiting ambulance to be checked over. The hostage negotiator yells at McNally that he went against his rules and McNally should be arrested for his actions. Lt. Det. Adam Troy arrives on the scene and he talks to the hostage negotiator who wants McNally arrested. Adam won't do it since McNally had rescued Teresa from Jack Tirana and he had saved everyone from remaining on the scene longer than necessary. Jack was ready to die and take Teresa with him and the loss of Jack's life was acceptable to Adam and others at the scene, except for the hostage negotiator.
  23. This is my '97 Caravan LE painted with MCW Seafoam Turquoise Metallic and a Tamiya TS-67 IJN Grey interior. This is a curbside model with no engine.
