    Mid Mill

Started with a 32 ford Turned it into the MID MILL, hot wheels 24th scale lol. Not much left of that poor lindberg 32 pickup tho, the cab and half its roof. Guards ,hood and sides came from the partsbox as did the wheels and engine, the frame was scratchbuilt.
  4. Well, what we have here is a part of my continuing saga to build yet another car from the American Nitro DVD. If you dont know what that is look it up sometime,(its only the BEST film ever made showcasing 70s american dragracing EVER,focusing on the funnycars). However just after 6minutes 47 seconds(approx) the nova I'm gonna try to replicate shows up with one of the most awesome burnouts ever done. I first seen this on vhs nearly 30 yrs ago and it's been etched into my brain ever since. Starting with the new revell 69 nova kit I got the rear end up as high as I could using kit parts and remade new front spindles to drop the nose about 4 more scale inches. Tryed getting some info from the :NITRO: Facebook page but didnt get anything helpful back at all.
  5. Thanks Bob,had to scratchup some zoomies and a blower belt but she's done
  6. Thanks again guys Bob, originally I wasnt going to use the "boss" decals, was looking at Shirl Greer? then Mickey T then found a couple of kits I "couldnt live without" so there went my decal budget. Was considering doing it as the hot wheels car then after looking at pics from 50/60 shows it dawned on me I,ve never seen one built with the kit decals either, so here we have one lol

    mid mill

Decided not to do any more plumbing or wiring as its getting too far from the original idea. When fixing the cracks the roof paint came out noticably darker so resprayed all the dark blue again, this time the flake shows up much better.
