First off thanks for all the nice comments. Secondly a cbo is a great idea as theres heaps more I'ld like to build but........(everyones always gotta have a but t right?) as this ones got its own thread already I'ld like to keep this one that way. Torinobradley ,start a thread man or start the build off I'm sure lots of us would like to see it (I would). Heck I might even start another just to join it lol. mediamonk most of well half defineatly of my local club collect them too. Personally I have a few hundred but I stick to mainly muscle car,hot rod and drag with the occasional oddball like this one. Well its saturday morning here so I'm heading out to the shed soon to do some more.

    mid mill

todays progress included throwing out(to the parts bin, I dont throw nothing away) those ugly cutaway front guards and using a set from an AMT 32 5 window and started on the frame got to beef up the frame but that is the final ride hight.Think I'll go for a ladder bar rear suspension its not suitable for leafs (easiest) and too long for a four link imo. rear shot

  21. Beautiful pickup Jim.Love the color
  22. Thanks Kevin, well since you last seen this its been for a swim in the easy off ocean as it appears my BMF was stickier than my paint ( the paint turned out so well that I foiled it a bit too soon I think and before clearing and whel pulling off the excess pulled off some paint). Not a happy camper. But back in pearl white with roof and hood colored ,will leave a couple more days then paint the scallops on the sides
  23. only a little progress at the moment, got the interior stuff made up bottles, dash and belts not going to detailed with this as nobody will see much of the interior with the doors closed.
  24. very nice man , great save
  25. and although I feel kinda guilty about scoring/grabbing so much ,I did wait quite a while before making my selections and some had left before I got my last few things. So should I feel guilty? I am a relatively newer builder than most (been in the club longer than some but in terms of the hobby newer than most of our members?) so dont have the huge stashes that some of them have.
