  1. David, if you have access to a high-volume shop type air compressor and a die grinder, coupled with a carborundum cut-off wheel will make QUICK work of the cuts
  2. Whoa!!! What a BEAST!
  3. Maybe, if there is a demand for it Don't know how many would want a resin body of an Airflow, doesn't seem like it's a popular subject...
  4. I hear you Cliff! Oddball cars that can't be had in styrene but are available in metal...they are all MODELS right? Plus they make great masters for resin casting
  5. Here's how it looked when I got it...some paint damage, and a broken RF axle end: Someone must have used a spray electronics cleaner of some sort, leaving the plastic underhood items and the paint damaged...the perfect candidate for a restomod! And for just $21.25 shipped A quick removal of some bumpers and stock wheels, and a mock-up showing the potential of this diecast Next up...disassemble & strip the paint!
  6. Has anyone reworked one of these into a street rod? I just picked up a slightly damaged one CHEAP from eBay, and am planning on converting it into something like this:
  7. Joe, I think there was a 1/20ish R/C "toy" XJ awhile back...can't remember the brand offhand. It was supposedly a pretty accurate body, if we could get ahold of one of those and "shrink" it for resin casting... Briz, I borrowed your pic of this odd-scale XJ, hope you don't mind...it's the only image on the net that I could find of the 'lil one!
  8. Awesome job Danno! Sure has held up well over the years!

  14. KEWL!
  15. Nicely done James! Thanks for the tip!
  16. Looks great!!! That AMT built up nicely! At least the tail panel is more accurately angled on this one than the Revell...
  17. This style of headlights is in one of the model A Ford kits, can't remember which? Maybe big rig roof "running lights" shaped to fit on top of the usual Revell '32 headlights would work?
  18. Very cool! You gonna build it Bill? I wonder what they used to tow his "Spruce Goose"???
  19. Nice!!!
  20. One word: JoHan!!!
  21. Now if we could just get an accurate 1/25 scale figure of Eddie's co-star
