  1. Briz, didn't you have a Cherokee in the works awhile ago? Add me to the list that thinks we need one of these on the market (Chuck, we can do the Comanche as long as we have two Cherokees to cut up ).
  2. Is anyone from here going this coming Sunday? Is it still at the New Stanton Fire Hall? Can't find any info for this years show online.
  3. George, you can take the quick & easy route and get one from Don & Carol: http://www.modelhaus.com/index.php?c=4247&p=69804
  4. Great work as usual!
  5. Looks good crusty!
  6. Not having either the past '58 or '59, I just have to wonder if this 'all-new' tooling is actually modified tooling from these previous kits?
  7. Welcome Chris!!! Lots of good stuff here, you'll like what you see Your Chevy build looks GREAT, very realistic!
  8. Very coooool build Ron!
  9. Nicely done Ron! Great details, clean & MEAN!
  10. Interesting stuff!!! Can any of our Detroit metro-area members confirm if the building still stands?
  11. Here's an excellent tutorial on 'widening' fenders & quarter panels, with full tire clearance. From Darin Bastedo: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=55926&st=0&p=655053&hl=mustang&#entry655053
  12. David, thanks so much for your mockup & thorough review, much appreciated! Looks very workable, could always sleeve the rims for extra width... Glad to hear there are some extra parts included. This one will be on my Hobby Lobby 40% off list!
  13. I'm likin' this Tom! Keep after it!
  14. Whoa!!! That VW bus looks incredible, great job!
  15. Here's some comparison pics: AMT could at least mold the slammer body in white and package it with the glue kit to allow us the option to combine if they won't retool the glue kit body
  16. Very cool Brizio!!! "post" it up on ORM too
  17. With all of the great new kit releases already out, and quite a few more scheduled, there is a need for photoetched detail sets for these kits. In the past, the Model Car Garage had always fullfilled this need. Not long after the new kits were out, we had a detail set available. It seems they are no longer producing ALL-NEW detail sets. http://www.modelcargarage.com/store/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=33 These new, highly detailed 50s cars are just begging for separate lettering, emblems, interior trim, etc. to really finish these gems off properly. Maybe licensing fees are keeping these detail sets from coming to our benches? How about it aftermarket? Discuss please
  18. Wow! I missed this when you originally posted it Cliff! Another AWESOME replica by the Read brothers!
  19. Welcome Mel !!!
