  1. I've built one '58, few years ago, Revell Lowrider kit with few modifications, bit like Taildragger Style... And here's a picture of my dad's '59 Impala, he built in 2010.
  2. Great looking Mini! Paintjob looks very good to me, and overall it is really clean build. Only two things caught my eye. Those headlights are looking like frozen. Water based glue is good for gluing clear parts, because it dries invisible. And other thing is, that next time try drilling little hole for that exhaust tip, it makes that part looking much more realistic. Otherwise really clean build, and just giving some advice, how to make next one looking even better. So don't take it too hard.
  3. Spark plug wires installed. I had little problems with gluing those wires to those valve covers, but managed to get them fitted pretty well. Now I'll be painting all of those other engine parts and then I can put everything together.
  4. Little update, some detailing for the engine. Those fuel line (?) parts are made from ignition wire and two piece of styrene. Next I must continue detailing, and frame needs to be built too.
  5. This would be great to have. I've been looking for good 1/16 scale model kit... Maybe your build, Brandon will ispire me so much, that needs to get one... Was that expensive one?
  6. Huh, then there's no problem... I'm building something with just rusty cab of Cameo. Very nice builds, guys!
  7. Looking very good, your projects are always very interesting, and they give lots of inspiration to continue my own builds too. Great job with the Lenco, engine looks very good too. One question: When you glue the engine on the frame? I've been thinking that for a while, when it is best time to install?
  8. Yeah-that came out really fast. H-Bodies are great, and they were popular on Drag Racing events. Nice build overall, very clean and realistic. That Schumacher FC looks very good too, as Chris said above.
  9. This picture was taken right after the chop top. AMT '49 Mercury, hopefully it gets finished in 2012...
  10. VERY cool Thunderbird Custom. That paintjob is great, and body modifications look good. Especially I like that grille. Engine is really nice too, and detailing is great all over. Thanks for sharing this one.
  11. Very cool Ford. Maybe somekind of little decal would fit nicely. It's good like that too. Engine looks very good, and so does that interior. Flat Black somehow looks good, even if I usually like Shiny better.
  12. First Rule of Italian Driving: What's happening behind you is not important! That's the way, I remember it. When looking, how some of the Italians drive, that seems to be true.
  13. Yeah, those subframe connectors are allowed, but you don't have to use them. My plan was that I'm not going to use them on this build. Don't know, why I decided to do it that way, though. Thanks guys.
  14. That looks very good, as that Super Stocker does too. Needs to build one Super Stocker Camaro, and hopefully someone makes resin body of this Pro Stocker. It would be cool to have one. But this is something different on Pro Stock class, I've seen too many GTO and Cobalt bodies there, new Mustang and Camaro will be both very interesting.
  15. This is great kit... Sorry, but I didn't actually understand, what you said... "how come you didn't connect the sub frame to the front frame" -that part. It's just because my english, we don't speak it as native language here in Finland.
  16. Thanks, Matt! I'll try to build as good build as this engine.. I've messed few builds with bad finishing. But this is not going to be one of them, I'm sure about it, since this is one of my all time favorite kits, and subject is more than interesting...
  17. Yeah, very interesting! This is really cool Front Engine Dragster. Great job with the chassis build, it looks so good. Can't wait to see more, and I'm sure, blown Small Block would be really good looking engine in it.
  18. I've built this kit, and quality had to be OK, because I managed to get everything together pretty nicely. That was many years ago. Your build looks very good. Nice paintjob, and color looks very good too. Great job with the chassis also.
  19. Finally update, but very small one... I painted the engine block, just because now I can see better, if it needs still some more bondo. And yes, it needs a bit bondo, but not much anymore. Next I need to cast timing chain cover, water pump, cylinder heads and stuff like that. Hopefully I can get more updates soon.
  20. Thanks so much, John! Those parts number 23, what didn't fit at all, are built now from solder. I believe, I must do some little things, before I can call them 100% finished, but anyway, they turned out pretty good.
  21. Great build, Front Engine Dragsters are my favorite subjects. Absolutely beautiful overall look, and that engine is cool. It has not to be V8. Nice detailing, and painting. Wheels and tires are looking very good too.
  22. Very nice build of this poor quality kit. I've built the ProStock Vega, what's same series as this one, I guess. But your build looks like amazing one, paintjob is great. Decals look very good too, and engine detailing is truly amazing. Thanks for sharing.
  23. Yeah. Perfect builds, all of them. It's simply inpossible to pick favorite build from there, because they all are incredible. Dashboard looks much better than my whole model. Great job, as always!
  24. Register plate says it all... Very nice build, just low enough and those wheels and tires are perfect choice. Black car with red steelies fit just perfectly together. Nice engine detailing too, thanks for sharing.
  25. Great job with those belts and bullies. Needs to try on my builds too. Overall that engine looks like very nice one. Anyway, can't wait to see more work with it.
