Well that's great. I like those Revell or Humbroll Enamel colors very much, because they are quite easy to paint. Smooth is not problem anymore, I guess, just bought all of the Polishing stuff from Model Car Contest.
-
Yeah, that's very cool too. I like the idea of making this kind of Sprint Car. And I can't believe, that it's almost 100% scratchbuilt! Paintjob is great too, and I like that body very much.

Well this Is Cool! Paintjob and those scallops look very good, and engine detailing is very realistic. It looks like it could be running. Like everything about it, but maybe those wheel bolts and nuts should be painted? -
Very cool Slot Car! That engine looks good, even if it's only the top half. Paintjob and all of that bodywork looks good too.

This is cool project, that idea is great. Interesting to see how it turns out, starting point looks like very interesting. I'll be following this very surely, thanks for sharing another great WIP with us.

Somehow I've missed this topic, too. But Happy Birthday, DR. Cranky!!!

Thanks Mark for the help! It's about one month now before the next Model Car Contest here in Finland, maybe I must look if I find some Alclad there. It would help me alot with some projects. I guess that Gloss Black can be Revell Enamel-or Humbroll? Great to hear, you're making progress. Hopefully we can see some pictures soon. Liam: Looking very good too, that shade of silver looks good on that engine!

If this one is Model, builder is very talented, as Manuel said. I voted Real, because everything looks so realistic. That register plate is only thing, what caught my eye. It looks like "Flat" to me, bit like decal. But everything else is just like real parts, so I say Real.

I remember that WIP topic, it was great and I really liked it. Glad to see it finished now, it's looking very good! Of course the kit is bit simple, but I guess that's not a problem when builder is this talented.

Very nice Dodge you have there, paintjob is looking smooth and shiny. I like that interior too, detailing is great. Those belt buckles look very good to me. Engine is very clean too, thanks for sharing.

I've painted and installed those rear axles. I don't know why, but I painted them before assembling axle halves together. But luckily they fit nicely together, and that little seam, what left there, can't be seen very well from Finished build.

Looking good, I've been planning to buy some Alclad too. That painting is quite tricky? But anyway, what you did with it, looks very good to me, and I'm sure that Lotus will be great build when finished. Hopefully today I have some time to take my Corvette Finally back to the bench.

Very interesting subjects you have there. That Corvette on the right, is it going to be Super Gas car? It just looks like it.

FULL BUILD REVIEW: REVELL 2010 Camaro SS Deluxe kit
W-409 replied to David Thibodeau's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
That Camaro, DoubleD posted, is something I'll build from this kit. That'll be the first version of this new Camaro, but the second one will be the SS/BM Super Stocker! -
Turned out awesome, as that other one did! Paintjob is great, very Shiny. I like that stance too, wheels and tires are perfect also. Those doors are incredible and they make this build looking different than some other '49 Mercurys.
-
This looks like cool build, very nice job with it, especially that engine looks like nice one. Maybe I should get this kit at some point too, and build it...
-
Liam is in with that Lotus too, thanks for joining in! Ken: Sounds interesting, can't wait to see pictures of build(s).
-
Wow, those parts are looking Good so far. Very nice job with painting, and assembling too. I really like these older Funny Cars, so I'll be watching this build very surely.
-
Thanks, Frank! I just bought "Polishing set", and I'll be testing how it works with this Nova build. But I guess the paint needs to be removed now...
-
Thanks Guys! Chris: That's suprising, how much damage one driveshaft can make. Good to have Driveshaft loop on the front and on rear. I guess they are good enough now on this Nova. I managed to fail the paintjob again. Needs to get more MR.Muscle.
-
Thanks, Andy! Looks Like you have super nice Avatar! I built another driveshaft loop. It's from aluminium also. You think, it's better now? I wetsanded the body too, and I guess it'll be time to paint some more red to it very soon. I put the heater on in Garage, so it's possible to paint. Äh, that picture is too sharp. It does look better in person...
