When this is finished, maybe needs to come to CCM Open so I can see this one. Very cool looking Impala, even if I don't usually like '65-'67 Impala Customs, Show Cars etc. But this looks very good, can't wait to see more.

That would be great to have as Re-release...

'73 Chevrolet Chevelle- Mastered by Tom Ellifritt
W-409 replied to W-409's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Yeah, that's what I thought, there are only those NASCAR versions... Actually didn't know that there is '73 Chevelle too, but that's much different than '74... It would be great to have resin kit or body from both, but especially I'd like to have that '74 Chevelle. Or then I do that conversion myself. -
I'd like to have re-release of Vega. That Twister Vega kit is horrible, but it's Vega and could be modified to look better. I haven't seen any other non-FC Vega kits, are there any? Anyway, I've built one Twister Vega many years ago, and I remember, that kit was terrible.

This turned out great. I like that yellow paint with vinyl top, it just looks cool. Great wheels and tires too. Engine detailing is spectacular also, thanks for sharing this build. You've inspired me to build another 70's style build...

Scratch Building an Aussie Ford Falcon **New update,15/1/18**
W-409 replied to ShawnS's topic in WIP: Model Cars
That is insane scratchbuilding, that car is turning out Great! Body looks very good and those engine parts... Cool, I can't believe, that it's scratchbuilt, so great job with it. This would be cool in resin too. -
Thanks Adam! Well, it has been long time, but that "diving board" didn't look good to me, so I had to shorten it just a little. Also added some more styrene, so it looks thicker now. There are some need for styrene, and bondo, but I guess you can see, that it looks much better now.

Oh yes, so Hemi versions had different wheels, thanks for that correction! Not much time spent on modeling now, but I managed to get that engine primered. Here's a picture of that engine block, I have other parts primered too, and hopefully I can spray some blue over them soon.

This is really hard one.... But I go with Real this time, the finishing and details are so realistic, that if it is model, it's Huge one. Somehow it looks like model too, but...

1/16 Engine Build
W-409 replied to Pro Tech's topic in WIP: All The Rest: Motorcycles, Aviation, Military, Sci-Fi, Figures
Well that's some crazy detailing! Looks like Pro Tech parts are great quality, and when builder is talented, everything looks spectacular. -
Thanks for the pictures again, Mike! They do help me... And wow, that's expensive kit! I've seen those kits with $30 some where, maybe on eBay, but that $149 is really high price... Well, I'm happy I got this one and I can build Race Car from this version too.

Great looking Vette 4X4! That looks very good, I mean that the chassis fits nicely with Corvette body. Finishing is cool.

This is great. Slingshot Dragsters are nice, and I like seeing something different too. This has just correct look for Low Budget racer, bit dirty and then that Slant Six engine... Great Job Overall!
-
This is cool project, Altereds are great and this paint scheme on that Altered looks very good. You did great job on the engine detailing, and it looks very good overall. Needs to get one Winged Express kit some day.

Well, this is going to be some kind of Bracket Car. For West Coast Street Cup, and class would be ET Bracket. That's my choice, because rules are quite "free". Thanks for those pics of the Beretta, that first one helps me with the firewall issue. I think, I'll do the firewall before I cut those front fenders off. And yes, that one piece front end sounds like very creative.
-
Thanks Fellas! Yeah, that's what I mean. Is there a better name for it? No big progress yet, still thinking, should I glue that hood on its place and cut fenders off, or build the firewall before cutting anything. I sanded those rear fenders, and I'm going to put some more bondo there.

Moebius Models Hudson Hornet has real nice Straight Six engine. Maybe it would be easier to use that as a basis. I don't know, where are you going to install thay engine, but maybe some European or japanese model kits have straight six engines too.

Liam, it looks very good! I guess, I will enter with '82 Corvette Outlaw Street. It's a Drag Racer. Then I can work with two Corvettes at the same time, other one is the Roadsport V8 version, and other is Outlaw Street version. I count myself in.

That's cool Bantam Altered, really like the detail all over, especially on that engine. Paintjob looks very good too, and it's very clean build all over. Thanx for sharing it.

W-409 replied to tyrone's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Well this is interesting. Your Builds are always very nice, and Nova is great subject. Looks very good already, keep updates coming. One Nova, I'd like to see, or build myself, is '76 Nova with Pro Sportsman chassis.... -
Turned out real Nice Pro Stocker! Really great job overall, the body looks very good to me. That paintjob is shiny and smooth, engine detail looks very good too, I really like this one.

Hayden Proffitt's '62 Bel Air Super Stock Drag Car
W-409 replied to Reeves Racing's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
This turned out very nice! I like the paintjob on it, and decals look good. Engine detailing is great too. These X-Frame Chevrolets are always nice to see, especially Stockers and Super Stockers. Thanks for sharing this build.
