  1. Alright, Thanks Ron! That helps alot. Now going to paint that axle.
  2. Pretty cool '57 Ford. Not sure if it was posted, but I'm too lazy to search thru these eight pages again.
  3. Rear axle is primered. It looks alright, could be better, but those little mistakes can't be seen on finished model. I'm going to paint it soon, but what color should it be in original car?
  4. Front tires are from Jo-Han box, but rear slicks are from my parts box. Wheels are resing castings by Marko Piironen, and they are really good quality. Wheels and tires fit well together. Hope to have more progress today, but let's see...
  5. ...So I started and took the Cuda apart. Then I removed the paint from almost all of the parts. Paint left off easily, and quite fast too. Then I started working with the engine. There's a plastic axle what goes thru the engine block. I filled those holes, and then applied some putty. After some sanding, I painted the engine block orange. Transmission is painted silver, and before gluing valve covers and oil pan, I took resin copies from them. Now I can use those resin parts as a "Master", and I can cast more of those parts. This is where I am at right now. I have installed valve covers, and intake manifold etc. I added some details to the carburetors. (picture two) They look better in person actually.
  6. I joined with Jo-han's '71 Pro Stock Cuda too. Bought it in November 2011, and the basis for the project is this Glue Bomb Cuda. Pretty good basis, since there are almost all of the parts, and they are in good condition too. It wasn't expensive either, and all of the parts were possible to take apart, there were no too much glue used.
  7. Nice STW Caprice, engine detailing looks sharp. Paintjob is also great. Those wheels and tires are only thing, what's disturbing me, those big wheels and low profile tires just don't fit to beautiful car like this. But anyway, very nice job with it.
  8. Well, here a a few can painted bodies...
  9. Ok, thanks for the information. That means some more conversion work to do, but I'm sure, that Model King kit can be converted to factory stock '74 Chevelle-Malibu.
  10. Very cool build! I like all of the details, you've done. Rusting and weathering looks very good too. Sunset pictures are great, and this build looks like 1:1 car on them. Also it's nice to see more people from northern Europe here.
  11. This looks very good so far. Can't wait to see it painted. I like the work you've done with the chassis. Firewall looks very good too.
  12. Tight race- Pro Mod VS Mini Van.
  13. Pro Mod is great category. In Alastaro, Finland, Michael Gullgvist drove 5.911 (2010), and last year he drove 5 second pass again. Can't remember how fast it was though. And there are few other five second passes too in Europe. This is the coolest Pro Mod in Europe, it doesn't have to be aerodynamic or something...
  14. It's this Shelby Cobra Or this Chevy Bel Air
  15. Great looking parts there. That body sure looks good and will be great when completed. Seat looks like real also.
  16. WOW, those are incredible!!! I'm just wondering, that how anyone can build anything like that??! Looks like you got amazing talents, Dave. Well, actually I was sure about that already. Carburetors are going to look very very very good when finished.
  17. Not much done with the Mustang yet, but I glued the engine block halves together. Next some sanding, and then I will be able to paint that. Rear slicks are also found from my parts box, they look very good when I did little Mock-Up. This is the basis-Revell Special Edition kit.
  18. Thanks Andy and Romell! Glad to hear, you're enjoying. Decals are now on their place. All of the decals are from the kit, and they fit fine. I'm going to spray some clear over this body on sunday. Sorry about the poor pictures, lightning wasn't perfect.
  19. Great to hear, you have enjoyed when watching the pictures.
  20. Wow, great combination. That Hot Rod looks very Old School, and so does that Dragster too. Detailing is incredible. I really like them both, paintjobs are very nice.
  21. Truly amazing build again, John! Great idea, and those scratchbuilt parts are looking very good too. Paintjob is insane, can't believe that it's painted, not decaled. Detailing is great too.
  22. This is something I need to have. I can remember one of these in red, here in Finland. It was very nice and clean, almost like straight from the factory... It's still in my head, and I guess I must build one like that. But before buying this version of Chrysler 300, I have to make sure, that I get one Tim Flock NASCAR Chrysler, that is even more interesting. Nice builds there, this kit looks very good from here, and can be built into very nice model.
  23. Yeah, pretty expensive. Huh. I'm working with the front end again, and trying to make it fit better on its place. I guess I will be able to post some pictures soon, if I get anything bigger done.
  24. X8, X9, X10............ Great job with the chutes, they look amazing! Wow, how easy can model building look, when there's very talented builder. Thanks for sharing, I'm waiting for more.
  25. Great build again, Andy! I like the paintjob, and pictures are fine. Great job with the detailing, engine looks very good. Decals fit nicely to the body shapes too.
