Thanks very much, Darryl! That Rulebook is really good, and helps me alot. Nova is red again, and looks pretty good I think. I'm going to add clear coat and decals. After clearcoat, it's time to test that Polishing set... Coming up next-the fuel pump.

Update for Chrysler 300C. I installed transmission oil dipstick. That end of the stick (from where you lift it up, you know?) is made from brass wire, and turned out better than original one. Those belt pulleys were cut away from the original belt. New belt is made from paper. It's bit too thin, but I guess it's better than AMT's version of it. Also painted those center caps of wheels. Don't worry about those mold lines on the dipstick and oil filter, they are removed after taking these pictures... Rear axle had one molded in type brake line... ....So I removed it, and going to make new one later when the axle is painted... And here's the picture of those wheels...

Some more progress with this build too. I test fitted the frame to the body, and cut those half-round openings to firewall. Now that chassis fits nicely to the body, and I can continue building the front end of that chassis. Engine mounts need to be done too, and remove paint and glue from that engine.

Very nice Oldsmobile Funny Car, great job with the decals and body painting looks very good too. I like the engine, and doesn't matter that it's not "Wired and plumbed", this proves, it looks amazing without wires and detail stuff. Thanks for sharing this WIP with us.

Very nice HotRod, it looks like real Hot Rod from the 60's! This color fits perfectly, and Flathead is great choice for the engine.

It has been waiting for inspiration. Sanding is not the funniest thing in model building, but I guess it's time to take this one back on the bench too. And I think I can manage with that Evergreen conversion part, just needs to do few things better for it. But thanks for the offer, Austin.

Alright, now I have good reference pictures for my Super Stock Mustang build, and I guess you will see some progress on mine soon. Thanks to mcandela for the pictures, they were absolutely amazing.
-
Well now I got pictures, huge thanks to Mike (mcandela). Lots of good pictures, so stay tuned. The build will be in Community Builds-section, in that 2005-2010 Mustang CBP.

Yes they are, and here are some more. From Finnish Model Car Show, don't know if I should post it on this topic, or in General-section, but I guess it's better when there's only one topic. http://tapahtumakuvia.kuvat.fi/kuvat/Tapahtumat+2012/Model+Cars/Tampereen+Pienoismallip%E4iv%E4+3.3.2012/ And one Teaser picture,

Finally found one Tunnel Ram manifold, and I can cast one from resin. Then I can continue building the engine for my Camaro project, and body needs to be sanded and primered too. I've been having lots of other stuff in my life too, like school and 1:1 scale projects. I'm building two models with tight deadline too, so I'm bit hurry with them. I will post more information of them later.

This looks very good so far, Romell! Very much work behind, and lots of work ahead too, but I think this will be amazing build when finished. Engine looks really good, and wheels and tires are great too. Thanx for sharing this amazing build with us. -
Yes they did. It gives some free color choices and stuff like that, and that's great.
-
Yeah, why not? That looks awesome. Paintjob looks very good and it's very clean build all over, no big mistakes found. The BMF would make it look even better, but it's not bad like that either, I kinda like it like that.
-
Cool build, that's much cooler version than the orange one. Body looks very good to me, and engine detailing is really nice. Stance is also perfect. Now I can't wait for your next build to come.

Thanks, Jim! That Hemi is great quality, and maybe that's why it looks that good. I'm Chevy guy too, and reference pictures are not so great, because original air cleaners hide too much of the engine details. So don't look too closely so it's not a disapointment if colors etc are wrong. But of course I'm trying my best, and it's great to hear that my pictures help you with your interesting project. T-Bird Engine looks very good too, maybe needs to pick that kit also, since it's good quality.

'73 Chevrolet Chevelle- Mastered by Tom Ellifritt
W-409 replied to W-409's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Oh, there was a kit of Bobby Allison's car too? Didn't know that thing, but needs to Google it. Can you remember anything about the lights (front and rear) and the grille? Especially the quality is interesting. -
Thanks Mike and Fred! I'm really interested about seeing that '62 Thunderbird-project. It'll be nice as always, I guess. Little update for the '57 Chrysler. Wheels and tires are finished. I painted wheels with Tamiya red paint, bolts and nuts are aluminium and then I added bit of The Detailer. I think they look pretty good at the moment. Also I bought air cleaners for this yesterday, and now I glued them on their place. Carburetor detailing can be done anyway.
-
Thanks Billy, that would be cool!

This will be interesting build, I'll be watching for sure. I have body and frame from this kit too, maybe I got inspiration from this thread to start mine too.

2011 Brad Keselowski Charger
W-409 replied to MarkJ's topic in WIP: Stock Cars (NASCAR, Super Stock, Late Model, etc.)
Yeah, just like that. -
Yeah, thanks both. Clifford, I guess I have pretty much of those pictures what I need, so maybe I can build one Mustang, which is close enough. I've been using Google search, and it has given me many pictures what are really helpful. I'd like to hear some info or pictures about the chassis.

Finally some more stuff for my Chrysler. Fuel Line is installed, and I started working with those wheels and tires. Wheels are resin castings by Marko Piironen and they are great quality. Bit of sanding the tire and wheels fit perfectly.

 Some more progress with the Torino, I assembled cylinder heads and intake manifold and oil pan. Transmission is also painted. I removed fuel pump from that timing chain cover, and I will make one electric fuel pump later, but that part is now ready for primer and blue paint.
