  1. Really loved those Steelie Wheels/Rally Wheels (or what they were). Those new wheels look very good too, but that look with those steelies was great.
  2. Wow, that NASCAR Ford looks really good, and Mean! If there comes a kit, maybe needs to pick one up. Also that 2010 Chevy would be nice to have, with Jeff Gordon decals of course. (Don't mean Snap Kit)
  3. Yeah, and that would be good thing for the first Slot Car ever. Maybe it would be great way to learn, and then build one from model car body and seperately bought parts.
  4. Yeah, just realized, I haven't told you, there are now all of the 2011 happenings, I visited, and one 2012 happening too. I'm uploading few pics from the Buick too, and maybe I should add few pics of my Moped too. http://tapahtumakuvia.kuvat.fi/kuvat/
  5. They look really good, but the prize about $60. Needs to look, are those kits cheaper, or do I have to buy chassis, wheels tires etc. seperately.
  6. Thanks for the name, Andy! '69 Nova had originally Rochester Carburetor, and that one what is in Revell kit, presents a Holley. So I guess, I'm going to change it. Found Rochester 4bbl carburetor from Revell's Black Widow kit, and after bit of drilling, I managed to get it looking like this. I also glued little piece of Styrene to the underside of the carburetor. Then I drilled two holes to it, and added some metal wire to them. This helps me to cast few Resin Quadrajets, hopefully they turn out good.
  7. ! If some Finnish sport men or women wins, it's possible, that there's some Doping taken before the competition. Actually our sport men or women are not winning this year, I guess, maybe better luck next time.
  8. Yeah, it's possible, and I guess, that you have better liquids there, like Purple thing (what was it?) and that Easy Off. We don't have so much of these liquids what remove paint.
  9. This turned out very nice, and I have to say, it looks amazing with that front clip of the body too (as I said in WIP topic, that it could be maybe removed, and only grille would be used). Paintjob is very nice, shiny and so smooth, stance looks good and finishing is done very cleanly, there are no mistakes at all. Those lights could be maybe in bit different place, maybe bit higher, because now, when watching it from the side, lights can't be seen, and it looks like there are no lights. Anyway, from the front view, it looks just perfect. Really nice build, thanks for sharing it.
  10. That's really good question! I've been thinking about that too, but maybe it's just like Mike said, let the insurance pay from the crashes... Great to hear, that there might be lots of snow, then I'm not the only one with this problem. I guess, snow powls have busy time then... Haha, I was suprised to see some Finnish language on this topic. Yeah, I've been here for a while, and I'm going to stay.
  11. Well, Google Translator says "Household Plumber", and I guess that's as close as I can guess. It's somekind of liquid, what cleans pipes in your house. Mr.Muscle may be even closer. I guess, somekind of Hardware stores would MAYBE have that kind of stuff....
  12. Is it possible to try fixing that decal with paint? Of course it must be really close the same shade of yellow, as that Decal. Really great job so far, can't wait to see it finished. Thanks for sharing this awesome build.
  13. Thanks Liam! I like that color choice too, it fits nicely with this black frame. Next step is waxing the cab, hopefully it will be very shiny when finished. Engine detailing and interior are the next things in line too...
  14. That's great idea how to scratchbuild that thing (don't know, what it is called in English). Needs to try, my Junkyard Mustang project could be lying on those parts...
  15. It's liquid. And If you find it, and test it, it's better to use clowes to protect your hands. I know, it doesn't feel good in hands, but it hurts very badly, if you manage to get it in your face. I know that...
  16. I installed front shocks, and some other parts to the chassis, and painted all of those bolts and nuts with silver, just to make them look more realistic. Then I installed those tires&wheels, they fit pretty nicely, and all of them touch the ground.
  17. Progress for today. I installed front shocks, and some other parts to the chassis, and painted all of those bolts and nuts with silver, just to make them look more realistic. Then I installed those tires&wheels, they fit pretty nicely, and all of them touch the ground. I think it looks pretty good, but what you guys think?
  18. Oh, yes that might be bit different thing, when it's inside Europe. Let Me know, if you find any? It would be very interesting to know, is it sold in the UK.
  19. I have removed Automotive Spray paints too with it, so yes, it works. Really great stuff, but don't know if you have that in the USA or not. Thanks!
  20. Huh, just came in, I was shoveling the snow. Here are few pictures, taken right after I finished shoveling the snow. Haha, it's not cold all year long here, in the summer the sun stays up almost every time during the night time, and we have about +20-+30 Celsiusdegrees (about 68-86 Fahrenheits), and we do drive DragRacing in the summer. But in the winter it is cold, yeah. It was really nice to be in Orlando last February. The change between summer and winter, is quite big here. And yes, I will be building models, when it's that cold. Stay tuned for updates with that Kenworth W900.
  21. I guess MR.Muscle is something you don't have in The USA. It's somekind of cleaner for pipes in the house, but removes paint really well. Many Finnish modelers use it, and it sure is good stuff. It's actually "Kodin Putkimies", but there's little MR.Muscle text too, so it's better to call it MR. Muscle, than Putkimies, on this forum.
  22. Yesterday I glued tires and wheels together. It wasn't easy job, everything else has been quite easy to install, but those rear tires and wheels were really tricky. I managed to get everything fit allright anyway. Luckily front tires and wheels were easy to get together.

  24. Hello From Finland!!! I'm not so crazy about the weather right now... We have half meters of snow here, and this week it has bee really cold. The coldest day of this winter so far, it was -36 Celsius degrees (that's -32.8 Fahrenheits). Today it was bit warmer, only 1,4 Fahrenheits but it has been snowing all day, and now we have about 8 inches of snow, maybe more. All of the roads and streets are covered by ice, Trucks and Buses don't have winter tires, they are running with same tires, as in summer. So they got stuck everywhere, today, in one uphill, there were FIVE trucks, all of them were stuck. And later, one Truck was stuck too, it wasn't even uphill, but anyway, it was there. Tractor was pushing it from the back to get Truck moving, but it looked like tractor had no chance to get that Truck moving. There are lots of accidents too, and because of them, and those trucks and buses, nobody can't move, there are Huge highway jams everywhere... So, because of that, can't go buying MR. Muscle, to remove paint. Hopefully tomorrow it's better day. It's quite slippery to walk too, with Longhorn Boots of course. Some of you guys may be used to this, but those who live in the south, it's maybe not so typical.
  25. This is cool Hot Rod. I like the Old School look, and all of the scratchbuilding, and modifications on the body, turned out very nice. V12 Lincoln engine is quite rare, but great Old School engine, big points for that choice.
