Thanks Terry! Actually there are about 50 projects going on. Some are coming along fast and some are coming really S.L.O.W. I've posted the most interesting builds here. Constructive criticism is great when the goal is to get better and better. Hopefully there comes some great and clean builds from my bench some day. No progress for the Beretta yet, but now I'm back from Paris and I can continue building models.

'64 Dodge Pro Mod..COMPLETE..Finished pics start on pg. 5
W-409 replied to Mister Twister's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Turned out very nice! That paintjob is wild, and engine detailing looks very good. Wheelie bars are very realistic also. Really like Pro Mod cars, and this one is bit different with '64 Dodge body. Great Job! -
Great looking Monza for sure. These are great cars and you did a great deal with 10$. I like that color, never seen it on Monza body, but it fits nicely there. I'd like to get one promo-model too, and maybe do '79 Skyhawk Conversion.

Really cool project, '75 Chevelle looks good. Great job with the engine so far, and interior too. Can't wait to see more because these Chevelles ('73-'76) are very rarely seen.

Well this is going to be interesting! Your projects are always very nice to watch and follow, and when this is based on Dragster, it'll be super interesting. Looks good already, that Roarin' Rail Dragster kit would be pretty cool to have on my bench too.

I cut the chassis to two pieces, because the front end will be built from tubing. First picture shows, what I did for the chassis, and then it was possible to glue those tubes on their place. Bit badly said, but can't say it better, let the pictures to the talking...

#24 Jeff Gordon '97 Monte Carlo
W-409 replied to W-409's topic in WIP: Stock Cars (NASCAR, Super Stock, Late Model, etc.)
Thanks Matt! That helps very much. The day when I pull this one on the bench again, is today. I will be continuing the engine detailing, and maybe some chassis work too, but let's see... -
This will be great as always. I like the paintjob so far, and decals look very good too. Interesting subject, these Funny Cars are great. Maybe I should continue my Chi Town Hustler...

new guy with Black Magic and 76 McEwen

Very cool and realistic builds, both of them. As Chevy guy, I like seeing Vega Funny Cars built, and that is really cool one. Engine detailing is spectacular, in both of them. -
1953 Ford Victoria Custom Coupe.........A Mild streetible custom
W-409 replied to Peter Lombardo's topic in Model Cars
This turned out very nice Custom. I like the color combo, and paintjob looks very good too. Great job on the interior also. -
I've been planning to build Drag Racer in 1/25 scale with model kit body and somekind of chassis... Not sure about it yet. I'd like to have factory stock body.

Yeah, it has been a while. That's because I didn't manage to get good pictures of that red '55 Pro Sportsman Chevy what was built after that Nova. I took some outside pictures now, and they're not perfect, but best ones so far. This Chevy was built almost Box Stock, only few engine details were added. Paint is from spray can and it has one coat of clear. Decals are from the kit, but I didn't want to use the stripes from that kit. It was bit challenging to get together, but I guess it turned out pretty good. Of course it doesn't look so good anymore, but I was pretty happy about it when it was finished.

Some progress has been made, but it's bit slow since I have to plan how I can get good looking parts. Actually firewall is done twice, and this version looks much better than the first one. BUT it's not completed yet, still in progress. Just wanted to share these pictures so you can see that I'm making progress with this. Maybe I can move to the engine and chassis soon.

The cab is waxed now, and it turned out pretty good. Next I'm going to move on and wax that front end too, and of course that frame needs some work too. Interior should be finished in a couple of days too...

Nice and clean build, paintjob looks good, smooth and shiny. Tires and wheels are realistic too, and foiling is super nice. Thanks for sharing it, very clean build without big mistakes.
-
Wow. That's all I can say! As usual, I was wrong, but anyway that is amazing build. Can't believe that it's model, those pictures just look like real car pictures....
-
That turned out great, maybe that name "Panic" is how driver feels, when it's time to hammer the throttle on starting line... I like that engine detailing, and paintjob with those decals is looking very good. Thanx for sharing.
-
Well that looks very good so far. Those rear tires are looking great, and whole detailing in that "interior" is spectacular. Front axle looks very good too, and so does that engine. I hope, I could build as nicely as that some day.

Maybe Other H-Bodies would be great to have too, especially Skyhawk and Monza. There are few different kits of them, but I don't know about the quality in all of them, but AMT's '76 Monza looks pretty good. http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a463/VintageDragRace/76%20Chevy%20Monza/P8263323.jpg That version, it has parts for factory stock car too, and SBC V8. Well, it's better quality, than I expected before I got that kit... Maybe those other AMT Monza versions are based on the same kit, but with different parts. Don't know about the MPC versions, though. Maybe they are different. But this:http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRsXuZoHqwHPmxVlphpP-7Lw8_QUV1lB6lPvrHW_d-ZcEU6fME6KpGOSSFW kit from '75 Skyhawk, is VERY poor. Anyway, those would be great to add on this thread too, since they are H-Bodies, as Vega is too. That Chevette would be very interesting also.

Thanks fellas! Bart: Thanks, I cut that hole to the hood, but the engine will be there, I guess. Anyway I'm going to fit a scoop there, so that hole will be covered after all. That hole is just for mocking up everything before assembly, now I can test fit the engine, and that front end at the same time. Dave: Thanks for the pictures, they help me very much. Yeah, I filled that curve, actually now it's easier to build the firewall, when it don't have to be curve, it looks better too. Hopefully I can continue this one today.
-
Update, I cut that front end off with Trumpeter Panel Scriber and saw. Then I glued the hood on, and after some test fitting everything looked alright... But I had to glue some styrene to that front end. Now I have that firewall in progress, hopefully some pictures coming later. And no, I don't have three hands, only Camera stand and self timer on that camera....
-
Yeah, I know that very well. Really great pictures, snow is great "background", but I usually make the snow smooth, and hard (as asphalt, you know) so tires don't "sink" there. But great pictures.

Great build, paintjob looks very good to me. You did great job with that figure too. I disagree, the movie was good! Not as good as Smokey & Bandit 1 and 2, but good anyway.
