  1. Great job with the Dragster! Especially those front wheels are amazing, but detailing is super all over. I can't wait to see more of this, since I really like Front Engine Dragsters. Very Cool Build.
  2. Thanks Guys! Yeah, no pressures. This is worth saving, and Sleeper is so interesting idea, that I hope this turns out very good. I've been building about six hours today without big breaks, and I worked with the Chevelle too. Engine is now ready to be primered, I'm going to primer it tomorrow. Lots of sanding was needed to make it look good enough, everything will be hidden under turbo systems anyway.
  3. GREAT! I've been waiting to see a build thread from that Sprint Car. Maybe this thread inspires me so much that I buy it next time I see one of those for sale. Great job so far, I'll be watching.
  4. What's that engine you got there? Great job so far, detailing is great, and very clean job, I mean that there are no mistakes. I'm not an expert of these Demolition Derby cars, but it looks to me, that those exhaust pipes are too tall. Can bolts keep that much of weight in the engine block while racing? Is that somekind of Roll Bar in the interior?
  5. My absolute favorite is Gene Vincent... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPVFpvsSToU Tried to post Roll Over Beethoven here also, but I wasn't allowed to do like that.
  6. Little Ride Height Mock Up Pretty good, I would say. Here are pictures of the body without paint, and engine block basis. And here's the engine block basis so far...
  7. This is my new project, what have been interesting for a long time, but no progress has been made. But finally I got some Mr.Muscle to remove paint from the body, chassis, hood and the engine block. Interior tube is still in that liquid. So the plan is to make '67 Chevelle Street/Race car what looks as original as possible. But it needs to have power under the hood... Chevy 454 CID. will be under the hood with two turbochargers and fuel injection system. The hood will be original, no scoop or anything like that. I started the build when I got the basis for this project from "ChevyCoupe41", glue bomb, but in good shape. Paint left off easily, and there wasn't too much glue used. First I mocked up the wheels and tires before removing the paint. Rear slicks are 9" wide, and they have steelie wheels with Dog Dish Hubcaps, in the front we have Good Year FrontRunners and steelie wheels with hubcaps. Both steelies are resin, and cast by Marko Piironen. I opened those holes from rear wheels with little sanding. Next they need some paint. The engine didn't care about the paint stripping, because paint or glue didn't left off from it. Well, then I must sand everything manually. There's lots of work to do, and I hope you enjoy following this WIP topic. This is the basis for the build-rolling '67 Chevelle. Here I took it apart.... The Wheels And Tires: (Hubcaps are not perfectly on their place, that picture was just taken as a little Mock Up) Part two coming within few minutes.
  8. Yeah, we need more pictures of this beauty. Chevy is looking very good, that paintjob is smooth and Shiny, I also like the engine detailing. Valve covers are great, maybe I need to pick one set of those.
  9. Well this is going to be interesting! I've always wanted to have '70 or '71 Dodge Dart in my stash, but that LA Dart needs lots of work to modify into factory stock-or Street Machine. I'd like to build them both actually... Is there a resin copies of this model Dart? Very interesting build, as I said, I'll be wathing it for sure.
  10. Maybe it would have been easier to start from this AirTrax '81 Dodge Mirada body? You're doing good job though.
  11. Not much done since the latest updates, but I guess it's time to get back building these soon, when I finish two fast builds first. They have a tight Deadline, so they make my other builds stalled for a moment.
  12. Thanks, I will pick that new kit of Chevelle Wagon too, hopefully those Gragar wheels are still inside that box. What El Camino kit you mean? The 65 Camino? And yes, it's my model, and I build it just like I want, but these Stockers are something, what need to be realistic. But no, I wasn't gonna use those Gragars in this build anyway.
  13. Absolutely Great job with this Camaro FC. Interior looks very good to me, and I like those rear wheels and tires too. They look very realistic. These builds make me want to buy some Pro Tech Parts from the next Model Car Contest.
  14. I dont have any cars, but I have 80 Tunturi Trial, (Finnish Moped). My dad has four cars and all of them are American, of course. 2002 Jeep Cherokee Limited Edition, 1979 Buick Skyhawk, 1960 Impala 2D HT and 1974 Chevelle Malibu. Thats not usual here in Finland that we have only American cars!
  15. Very nice Dodge Charger build, detailing is awesome and paint job turned out great. Thanks for sharing this beautiful build.
  16. It is built to match Pro Mod rules and it has real Pro Mod engine, and the driver originally built it for Pro Modified... But I guess, it'll run in Super Pro Street this summer.
  17. I did some work for the C/Street Mustang's engine too. I glued that Pro Charger on its place, and I built that tubing for the air cleaner from 3mm solder. Spark plug wires are also installed and all of the Pro Charger tubings etc. are on their places. Belt pullies are from other kit, and the belt is made from paper.
  18. I built one Cowl Induction Scoop for that blue Outlaw Mustang, it's made from styrene, but I'm not sure if it needs a hole if engine don't fit in.... And front spoiler is made from styrene too, also added some two part bondo on that, some sanding and then it'll look much smoother...
  19. Very cool Falcon, it's a shame that this kit is pretty simple. You did very good job with it anyway, especially that engine detailing caught my eye. GREAT build, thanks for sharing.
  20. Of course it CAN be built to Pro Mod, but it wouldn't be fast enough in real life. I guess Pacer would be VERY cool Pro Mod car, even if it wouldn't be that fast. But without body modifications it would be something like this very cool Finnish Camaro Pro Mod.
  21. This'll be great when painted. Primer looks good too, and when you have all of those colors painted, it'll be true eye candy, as Dr. Cranky would say. Can't wait to see some paint on it.
  22. Great job with the Shelby so far. I'm going to follow this build very closely, that engine looks very good so far and those wheels are much better than the original versions, even if I don't usually like that kind of wheels, but in this car where wheels are "too big" originally, it doesn't matter that much.
  23. Thanks, Alan! The Driveshaft loop will be glued on both, front and rear. I FINALLY managed to remember and primer that timing chain cover. It turned out pretty good, only those ejector pin marks need to be removed. Then I'm going to paint it blue, and start assembling the engine.
  24. And the restore continues... ...So I cut that old version of top away, since I found one top which was pretty close on original Fox Mustang top. That is now glued, but it needs still some styrene before it fits correctly.
  25. Luke, that looks amazing so far. Great to see Lowriders being built from different subjects. Is that going to be also gloss black? That color have been looking very good on your latest builds. It would be a lot of fun to build one, but I don't have any good basis for the build right now.
