  1. This looks very good. Detailing is awesome, and paintjob looks great. Clean build all over on rare subject.
  2. Thanks, Chris, Joe, Jim, Floyd and John! I guess, this car wont have that chassis problem, as Jim's Falcon. I hope you manage to clear those issues, and get your Falcon stance set right. I casted some engine parts, and they came out OK. I'm going to test fit those tomorrow, and then I can see what have to be modified, but I'm pretty happy about how they turned out.
  3. Since the Nova is Finished, I decided to start new project. Super Pro Street is car category, which is new here in Finland. Cars must have doors, but otherwise there are no big limits, but cars can be no faster than 6,8 seconds. Interesting, I would say. I've had '57 Chevy Pro Sportsman body for a while, and inspired by Tyrone's '57 Chevy ProMod, I started to build tube frame for it. I'm not sure about the engine yet, but maybe somekind of Pro Motor with TunnelRam intake... Let's see. Anyway, the basis for the frame is built from pieces of parts trees... Hope to have more soon, but this will be long project. So don't hold your breath. The Body, '57 ProSportsman Chevrolet The basis for the frame, some pieces parts trees... And here is my "Jig" for building the frame basis.
  4. Thanks Chris! It means alot when coming from you.
  5. THANKS to everyone of those kind comments! I'm really happy about how this long term project turned out. Andy: Glad to hear, you enjoyed the ride. Talking about future builds, I started new one today, and I guess I need to start a build thread here.... Matti: Wow, great. That GTO will be another great build from you, when finished. My GTO will be on the bench soon also. Aaron: I can see the improve on the skills too, and that's great. Maybe it's just because I try to do better, and I'm not rushing, as I did few years back. Thanks each and everyone again, I really appreciate these comments !
  6. '69 Nova Special Edition kit has set of 9" Slicks and Hoosier decals too.
  7. Thanks Richard, you helped alot. Well the Nova is FINISHED, and it turned out great. Here are pictures of it, thanks for following this build thread, and thanks for comments everyone. This was fun build.
  8. Wow, amazing job with this one, but we need some pictures where the size can be compared to something, like box of matchs. It looks 1/25 or even bigger scale build in these pictures.
  9. Awesome Mercury Custom. VERY clean build all over, especially that engine bay looks good when it's that clean. Paintjob is smooth too.
  10. Great job with The Mustang, as always. I really like the idea of Full Detail Convertible, this sure is something different, and you did great job with it. Paintjob turned out very nice, and interior is nice. Color combo fits perfectly on this car.
  11. The paintjob turned out great. Is it clearcoated yet, or are you planning to spray some clear over it? Looks good, can't wait to see more of this 'Stang.
  12. Thanks, Richard! The battery cable would look better. It sits as low as I could get it, but that alternator wire is bit disturbing it. Well, next time better. I'm going to add some little metal parts on that cable, so it would sit bit better. Let's see if it helps. And I will paint the grille and taillight panel as you said in the earlier post, black wash for the grille and semigloss black to the rear. Thanks.
  13. Thanks, Brett, and Richard. I have to say, that my building skills are lots of better, than they were few years ago. Building speed is bit slower, but that doesn't matter, when the quality is better. This will be my best build, if everything goes alright. I finally managed to get great paintjob on the hood, after the first coat, I had to wetsand it and paint again. It's not perfect now either, but after polishing, it will look good. Here are few pics of the car outside.
  14. This is something, I've been waiting for, you did great job with the frame, and it looks very good in primer. I can't wait to see what you do for the engine.
  15. Todd's Hudson Came out Beautiful! Especially I like those scallops, they look very good on that body. Finally an Update for my Hudson project. There were some text molded to the chassis, and I had to remove them. After that I placed some putty there, and all left to do is sanding, and primer. Engine is almost finished, only exhaust manifold extension part is missing. I added some mesh to the air cleaners, and installed them. Oil Filter is also glued. Last thing I did for today, was primering the frame. Today I'm going to paint it gloss black.
  16. Thanx, Christopher! Those body colored tanks (can't remember what tanks they are...), are cleared now. I could install them soon, but gas tanks aren't still ready, and I can't install the cab because of that. But hopefully soon, I can.

  18. Thanks Kane, and Greg! The rear frame is glued to the chassis. Needs to cover those holes with styrene though, they are bit oversized since I didn't know, what position is correct one for the rear frame. Well it's not that hard to cover them, so that made gluing job much easier. Next some more chassis building, I need to find great Rear axle somewhere...
  19. I've built that Twister Vega many, many years ago. It was a horrible kit, interior, chassis and engine were bad, body is the best part of it. But engine is bad quality, AND way too small. In Real Vega, Chevy SBC with Blower, would need big hole for the hood... That engine doesn't come through the hood. Anyways, Antonia has done great job with his Vega, where is that Cowl Induction scoop from? This is my Monza Build so far, Long Term Project, and it will be built as nicely as possible.
  20. Today I sent a Pre Order of this Chrysler to Model Express, now needs to wait, when it's in production and available. Can't wait to have it on my bench.
  21. Tyrone, you have inspired me to take '57 Chevy Bel Air to the bench. Actually all I have, is the body, so I have a question: What did you use for the frame? I have some styrene tubing, but I'm not sure if it's strong enough...
  22. I took it back on the bench, and the interior is now finished. I painted that wooden part of the dash again, and cauges are gloss black. Interior was very simple overall, but actually it looks pretty good, when completed. Also added some black wash on the grille, and installed it on the place. Body is painted flat black from inside too, so I'm getting ready for installing glass parts, and then this thing is starting to come togheter. Fuel tanks are stripped off from the chrome plating, and after a bit of sanding, they are ready for silver paint. Little paint touches will be added to the interior, before gluing it to the body. One More
  23. Thanks Tim! This Truck will be Finished soon, since I'm gonna get it to ModelCarContest on the next thursday. So today I took it back on the bench, and the interior is now finished. 24. Sorry Fellas, progress has been very slow on this build. Today I finally managed to get it back on the bench, and I decided to modify those rear wheels a bit. Pro Sportsman tires with those narrow Centerlines didn't look good, so I took one American Racing Torq Thrust wheel what was really wide, and after a bit of sawing and sanding and superglue, I ended up as this. I'm gonna make resin copies of that. Not sure, who will cast those wheels though, but lets see that later.
