  1. Wow! Before I saw the pictures, I thought this would be somekind of matt black "Rock 'n' Roll car". But this version is looking much better. I like the color on it, and paintjob is really great. Like the six cylinder engine, detailing is nice on it and air cleaner looks good. Personally I don't like those dummy sidepipes, I'd like to see them working. But nice model anyway, there are no big mistakes at all. Stance is also very great.
  2. This is the only way to get Skyline interesting. Great job with it. I personally don't like that body model, but paintjob is good. Engine looks very good, I like the detailing on it. Headers are looking good from what I can see. Nice job with it.
  3. This one is going to be cool. With your talents, this will be the best AMC Matador, I've seen in this scale... Really great job so far, can't wait to see more. It's very interesting to see, how this turns out.
  4. Really great start! Wheel choice is perfect. Those are looking very good with that body. Also very nice to see '70 Barracuda being built, not always the '71 which is not as nice as this. Those seat belts are looking bit weird... I've just glued the belts between the seat and door panel. They are looking much more realistic so, but you can't see those so well when the body is on, so it's most inportant thing that they look good on the seats.
  5. This one is looking cool! I don't know, do I like those wheels or not, but front tires could be bit higher profile, those are too low profile tires... But anyway, paintjob is very cool as always, and those flames are nice too. I like the stance. Very nice save of this old Camino, it looks pretty hopeless in those first two pictures. I could not believe that it turned out this nice. Grille looks very good too.
  6. This one is too cool! If someone would ask that Real or model, I'd say real if I could not know that it's a model. Really impressive paintjob, I like especially that front clip. Colors are great too. Amazing bodywork you did, and frame looks good too. How someone can build something that nice from styrene tubing? And of course, detailing is perfect. I can't imagion any details to it anymore, is that engine running yet? And very nice pictures too. Great job, this is the best model, I've seen in long time here.
  7. That's really sweet '53 Ford. I like that color on it, it's just perfect and that top looks very great! I like the interior too, and engine. Details are really great, and stance looks good. There are no any big mistakes on it, great job and keep these coming.
  8. Wow. That's looking simply amazing. Awesome scratchbuilding, I could never built like that. It looks great. Body is looking like real thing, I mean the shapes and the sizes are just like 1:1. Nothing seems to be out of the scale. Really nice work. And It's coming fast!
  9. In Stock class, they had to be with full interior, not sure about the Superstock, but I think, they had backseat too.
  10. I have sanded the old paint off (that paint what didn't go off from the body in the stripper.) I also added some bondo to the fenders, and now it needs some more sanding before I can spray the first primer coat on it. But this one is getting close to painting.
  11. This one looks simply amazing. It was great to follow the WIP thread, and the finished product looks stunning. Paintjob is very great, and colors are nice. I like the combo of white and blue. Engine looks very good too, it doesn't matter if there are plug wires or no, that motor is so nicely done. Really great job you did with this one, makes me want to build one, but I have to buy one chassis from this model kit first. To another project...
  12. Some paint to the body... It's from spray can, but needs still some clear. Paintjob looks pretty good at the moment. I post few pics also from the frame, because I mentioned that there are no any pics about the chassis without on all four wheels. I also built a top part to the distributor. This build needs now some interior work, it's getting there slowly but surely... The hood needs some primer to the otherside before I can paint it. And the top will be flat black, but I haven't any paint for it yet.
  13. That looks great! Paintjob is awesome, very shiny and smooth. Those scallops are looking very good on this, wheels and tires are very good looking, and stance is great. Where are those decals from? Looking really good, I like it.
  14. A M A Z I N G!!! I'm not a fan of that style, that bumbers, grille, window trims, everything is painted with bodycolor, but this model is so impressive, that those things doesn't matter at all! Paintjob looks simply fantastic, there are no mistakes on it, it's smooth and very shiny. Engine is great, detailing is simply stunning. I like the chassis too, this one looks lke it could be built on the 90's. Great job on the interior too, seat belts are looking very good. This one is simply awesome build, I can't find any mistakes from it.
  15. Very interesting subject, and Tatra can't be easy to do because of those round bodylines... But how to post pictures... There are two good ways to do that. When you use the Flickr, go to view that you see only the picture, and just white background. Like this. Then just copy the url (the http://www...) and add the url to "Insert image" on this forum, it's just next to the "Insert link" button. Then you have a picture on this forum. Other way is using photobucket or fotki, but I think, it's easier to do that on the way I mentioned first... Hope this helps.
  16. Yes, it's just super glue. Strong enough to keep those on their place, and it doesn't dry too long time. Great and easy to work with. Your Mustang picture looks very good, maybe I should start building something like that, but I don't have a basis for the project yet... But looks very interesting.
  17. Thanks, Jake! Little details make the model look very good. This build will also get seat belts, but Street D race car doesn't need a mesh to the driver's side window. Now the ignition wires are installed to the distributor... I got one distributor already done for the engine and then I just heard "zinggggggg"... (A voice of a small distributor flying off from the tweezers... I didn't find that part, so I built another one ready and installed that one. Now the ignition wires are also on their place in the distributor.
  18. Yes, Pro Modified engine is very close to Monster Truck engine. Also Top Methanol FC engine is pretty close, and of course TMD enine is close too. Here are some pics, I found from the internet, I have also taken many PM,TMFC and TMD engine photos, which are quite good too. And when building a model, I use to look other model cars, how the detailing is done and how it looks realistic. Maybe the "Drag Racing Models"- section would be good place to watch some reference for the engine. There are many well detailed Pro Mod engines there.
  19. A little update to Charger. I added cylinder heads, valve covers and blower manifold to the engine. The manifold was quite hard to find, but that one fits fine. Blower is painted silver, because I didn't like the chrome on it. Valve covers were also chromed, but the black paint on them looks better in this engine. Next step is spark lug wires, they are coming from Scale Dreams' wire, as usual. Let's see, when this build continues.
  20. Some more pics about Kenworth W900: I added some putty to the turbocharger, there was very ugly mold seam, because this part was glued from two seperate pieces. Some paint and glue and it was on its place. Then some weathering to the engine for more used look. This is not going to be any show truck, but it's going to be clean from the outside. Engine was looking "too yellow" without any weathering, so I added some black wash to it. And here is the link for the original WIP topic. THE WIP!
  21. Here you have some pictures about my Kenworth... I'll post the link also to the WIP thread, when comes the update, there are the text about what I've done, because I'm too lazy to write it to many places... But enjoy the pictures. The kit is Revell, pretty good quality, but not the best, I've seen. Next two pictures, the cab and the frame. Some wires were molded to the engine block, so I removed them and added some putty. Engine block painted and new wires added from Scale Dreams' stuff. The thick wire is some electrical wire...
  22. Looking really good. I didn't know that Rex White has driven '37 Ford... Model looks really cool, wheels and tires are looking great, as PPP's stuff usually is. Paintjob is nice too and I like the engine and interior. That seat looks very cool and seat belts are also great. I like this one, keep these great nostalgic Nascars coming.
  23. Looks like a great model! It looks like 1:1 car on these pictures. Paint looks cool, and color is very nice. Engine detailing is great also. Personally I don't like that bed, it looks maybe bit too short for me, and I'd like to shorten the wheelbase but of course that isn't builder's mistake. Nice model it is anyway, no any complaining about the building of this one. Great to see Gassers and other Old School drag racers being built.
  24. Thanks! I've been thinking maybe red, blue, orange... Don't know, but maybe one of those, and the decals from this kit, the option decals, not those lightnings. The gray interior would fit those colors quite well, maybe...
  25. Count me in with Kenworth W900. This is an interesting community build.
