  1. Yes it is Cranberry Red https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0115-204298/1970-chevrolet-chevelle-ls6-red-alert/
  2. I fought it as long as I could but my arms never got any longer.
  3. Oh don’t get me wrong, I am inspired by his, as well as others on here. But I’ve come to accept that my attention to detail and scratch building will never be at the same level. Although I have taken some of his advice and started slowing down and taking some time with each sub-assembly, treating it as if it were a separate model. I think my biggest fear is trying something major like custom body modifications and ending up with a parts kit because I screw something up.
  4. That’s how I felt after following his 68 Coronet build and seeing the finished product ??
  5. Modified the cage from the AMT 67 Chevelle pro street kit. Opened in t up and both the chassis and body are badly warped so it became a parts kit.
  6. Absolutely beautiful work on this one!!!
  7. Got some primer on the body and painted the wheels bronze
  8. You…… have my attention ?
  9. I normally like to do that but only local ones I’ve found were in the $50 range. I got the lamp and the pin vise set and a desk lamp for my wife’s work desk for around the same price. I’ve used it today quite a bit and I love it so far!
  10. ^^^ This!!!…….Turn on some tunes and let the outside (upstairs?)world just melt away. I usually go down for a few minutes and end up spending a few hours piddling around. Come to think of it ? that’s how most of my current projects have started ??

  12. Not a lot going on right now, gonna try a few new things on this one and hopefully get some motivation back to work on some more projects.
  13. Went down to the workbench and moved some stuff around. Rinsed some chrome parts I put in the pond last week sometime. Took a couple of WIP pics for the CBP I’m working on. I’m finding it harder and harder to get motivated to work on anything lately.
  14. Couple of new goodies for the bench
