At Walmart (at least one store)
Keef replied to Classicgas's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Was in the Walmart in Madisonville TN last weekend and they had a 20 foot section of models 3 shelves high. My wife told me to have at it for Christmas so I may have picked up a couple. -

Would this count as 25% started? Interior is finished but everything else needs to be done. Would give me a reason to finally finish it up. -
The 66 Nova and 67 Chevelles were $16.97 each! Of course the first Chevelle I opened had a warped body and chassis ?

Wife and I went on a road trip just to get out of the house. Ended up at a Walmart and she found a half aisle full of model kits and told me to get what I wanted for Christmas. Merry Christmas to me!!! ????

Anyone deal with Motor City Resin Casters?
Keef replied to gbtr6's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
He had a couple of items I was contemplating purchasing, but after reading through this thread I’ll take my business elsewhere. Really wanted one of the 67-68 Mustang coupe kits most of all. -

Keef replied to thatz4u's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I use my iPhone 8plus. It take’s pretty good pictures considering I’ve had it since new and I’m hard on phones. -
After seeing the pictures, watching the build video, and picking my jaw up from the floor, that is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL build!!!! The fit, finish, attention to details, all totally amazing! I have this same kit in my stash and can only hope mine turns out 1/3 as good as yours did. Cudos to you sir! ??

Absolutely stunning! The all black with the redlines gives it an almost sinister vibe. I bet it was a lot of fun back in the day! ??

Upcoming Round 2 reissue news via Spotlight Hobbies
Keef replied to Dave Darby's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Superbee will be nice to have back in the lineup. Would be better if they had the pitchfork hood instead of the flat hood with scoops. I know Harts makes one but last time I bought 2 of them, one was so warped it snapped in half trying to straighten it and the other one was warped as well but not as bad. I may buy a Cyclone and 2-3 of the Duallys and definitely 2-3 of the Superbee. -
Behind you and the bench

1st pic is directly in front of me, other 2 are off to the right of me, behind me is an open garage area. -
One piece of advice, you’ll want to wait until last to install the front subframe otherwise you’ll have trouble getting the body and everything to go together properly

Gonna blackout the hood or go body color?
