  6. scott, did you get my message? there's something wrong with my ability to send messages on the board here.

  7. looks fantastic, robert. the rear beadlocks add significantly to the appearance! are the grille and headlights painted on?
  8. TDR s an excellent big block. it's a more modern version so, the valve covers won't fit a "stocker" type build. maybe a few other little things. i got no clue on wheels for ya'. of course you could talk to tim at TDR. i'm sure he'd be interested on helping you out making a set.
  9. just chiming in. it looks great.
  10. tyrone, i just spent the last hour watching videos!!!! these are awesome........but, i can't get anything done!!LOL!!!!!!

  12. looks great, mike. i'm glad if anything i have made, has helped with your build mike. keep up the great work.
  13. greg, by the way. i'll be expecting to see a 1/8 scale '69 camaro next. your choice blown or nitrous assisted but, dude you gotta try 1/8. you'll never go back!!!!!!!!!
  14. this has all of the makings to being a superb build, joe. like i said earlier. don't rush it!!! take the time to do all of the details YOU believe should be there. you are on your way to kickin' butt and takin' names. control the destiny of your build and do it right! and yes those wheels are TOTALLY cool!!
  15. greg this is just incredible man!!!!!! the details just flat out work! excellent work.
  16. welcome to the place where time stands still, joe. doing all of the little nit picky things just takes time.....a lot of it. don't get too frustrated. don't rush it. get the details right. you will be oh, so glad in the end!
  17. chris, the chassis definitely looks better! fixing all the problems built into this model has been a trying deal but, well worth your effort. keep up the good work.
  18. i've been using the technique that wayne has explained for a while now. i've had great results for very little cost up front. here are some i just did. i will add this. i use some white decal paper that's not the greatest in covering over a dark color so i take a piece of unprinted paper and cut an exact duplicate in size and put it down first. let it dry and then i put the color decal on top. here are the results on an obviously dark blue car. oh, and just so nobody calls the lawyers, i got permission to duplicate this logo..............honest.
  19. if you have a caliper. you can measure the area of the butterflies. on a hat like that typically it's in the area 74 sq.in of opening. it's your best clue as to whether that thing is even close to scale or not.
  20. i like your thinkin', robert.
  21. looks like you might get this one done for you! hehe. keep at it mike. looks good.
  22. i gotta agree with darryl. the blower looks to big, as does the hat.
  23. here's the one that got finished. here's the one that didn't get finished. while this one didn't get finished in 2011. it did get into MCM in 2011 which really made my year. hope you enjoy!
