That looks fantastic, I was curious on why you were looking for doors. That is a beast and I have always admired COE wreckers. On the plus side you have the rest of a cab to double bunk a GMC or Astro !

It is not much but it is all mine. Yes that fancy moving box to the right is my computer desk. Oh and that thing draped over the loveseat is my bear rug..

Growing up in Colorado - I started modeling HOn3 back when I was a teen and did so for 30 some years. I disassembled my layout and sold everything off due to failing eyesight and not so steady hands. I did reinvest the proceeds into On30 stuff but have yet to do anything with it.

I took a vacation from work , spent a week in North Carolina with my wife and a week at home. Actually have had some time to work on this truck. This has not been the easiest of assembling. This is an old kit and almost every piece was off the sprues and loose in the box and the directions are a little vague to say the least.. But hey, it makes things interesting. Thanks for looking in

Terry - I am really happy to see this one back. A little late to chime in but have you ever tried using thick foil embossed over your diamond tread with a q-tip to make pieces for what you just did ? I use to make roofing tin like that all the time for use on my model RR.

Finding the new format was quite a surprise after being away on vacation. The look is different but I am already use to it. My biggest obstacle to overcome is not hitting the "sign up" button when I go to log in This forum even with the new format surpasses "fsm" and "sa" a million times over.

Sorry to hear that, I lost a lot of books that way many years back. You can send those kits out here to Montana - they will be dried up in just a few hrs.

I have always feared change , revamping a format will not attract younger people. Young people have their own ideas and habits , model building is a hidden talent that only a handful of privileged people possess .

It is almost a shame to assemble all this fine detail work. I think this build would be very popular as a resin offering. Super all the way !

Thanks guys, This has to be the slowest progress I have ever made on a kit. Got the rest of the engine components on except the fan. Not going new and shiny with this one.
