Thank you everyone for the fabulous comments. There still are some things I need to add but just did not have parts that looked right.. (turn indicators, T-handles for compartments, Mirrors that dont look weird , mudflaps and a decent pogo stick)
Gino - this is a really good looking truck and your attention to detail shows. I have used solid "silver bearing solder" (lead free) to plumb in exhaust with great results. You can really get nice curves by using it. I like this AMT kit myself and have backdated several cabs.
Started this project from two previously assembled trucks that were not complete.
There are a few bits still missing that I need to source or scratch - but it is leaving the in-progress shelf to the display area.

Alain, this is the most realistic model truck and trailer I have ever seen. Your modeling skills and photography are amazing. I am surprised with your talent that your not a Model Railroader.
Gator ,
This is a great project and I am excited to see what you have up your sleeve. I have seen a Lot of semi trucks with plywood plugs. Out in this part of the country sleepers attract mice and packrats.
Keep up the fine work.
Terry - I am going to send you an auto detail kit and a couple cans of krylon so you can clean those trucks up.
Those trucks are rough ! But boy do they look like they have some stories to tell.
It is fantastic that there was another entry, the judges must of not seen it due to the lights reflecting off of it
Sorry it took so long to see this Angel , I really like what you did to this snap kit. Great job grafting in the rear cab and swapping in a sleeper. You are very much welcome for the bumper , I am glad I was able to help. Did the decals come that yellowish color or did your basecoat affect them ? Anyway It is a sharp looking rig !
For you old school fans.
The ranch I work for bought this three months ago. Recently my foreman called me wanting to know how to drop the air bags so he back under a trailer. My reply was what airbags ? That is a spring suspension. Your gonna have to dolly up that trailer
Made the 240 mile round trip to town for supplies and brought home a New Four wheeler. 2015 Honda Foreman.
My wife loves it, I think I will have to get me one now.
Here is the flip side of your drought. Growing up in Colorado the rivers that feed the Colorado River you could almost walk across without getting your feet wet . Lakes and reservoirs would be way low also because so much water had been allocated to Utah, Arizona, Nevada and California. The joke was "a record snowfall" Guaranteed green golf courses in the Dessert.
Wow, with the right background I would really have to look to make sure this wasn't a real truck & trailer. I also have to say this is one of the nicest builds I have ever seen of this kit. All the extras really made it "pop" !
