  1. Does anyone make a replacement 5th wheel for Italeri 1/24 trucks ?
  2. Nice looking trucks Terry, I like the Cat in the Pete. Makeup brushes work great for a seasonal dusting. If you steal one from your wife be sure to wash it, or you may have some colorful weathering.
  3. And too thin ! It is a sweet truck
  4. I like it and I am glad to see it getting a second chance at the bench. Looking forward to seeing more work done. Nice work on the double cab and the Cat looks right at home.
  5. I have not assembled one myself but had seen this on another truck forum Assemble the cab completely....top/bottom, and sides. Assemble the interior...except the dashboard. Install the dashboard into the cab..and then install the inside door panels, and then insert, install the cab floor from the bottom..and then you are ready to mount the cab on the frame
  6. I am really impressed with your Falcon also, one of my most favorite trucks. The trio is a unique collection ! I kick myself daily for passing on a "Falcon cab" a few years back...
  7. Very sharp paint scheme !
  8. Fantastic, I really like the way this IH turned out. I would really like to see a picture of all your trucks on display.
  9. What a privilege to see such fine modeling skills. That truck looks like it came from a modern sales brochure !
  10. Ken I here is a Freightliner I backdated, it was the first big rig I had built after 30yrs of other modeling.
  11. This is quite a project , I am excited to watch it transpire.
  12. Wow, that combo is fantastic ! They look so realistic.
  13. Gino - I am very impressed with your trucks. Very nice work.
  14. Wow I really like that Marmon coe !
  15. I really like the paint scheme on this one ! Excellent
  16. Thank you everyone for the fabulous comments. There still are some things I need to add but just did not have parts that looked right.. (turn indicators, T-handles for compartments, Mirrors that dont look weird , mudflaps and a decent pogo stick)
  17. Top Notch all the way !
  18. Gino - this is a really good looking truck and your attention to detail shows. I have used solid "silver bearing solder" (lead free) to plumb in exhaust with great results. You can really get nice curves by using it. I like this AMT kit myself and have backdated several cabs.
  19. Started this project from two previously assembled trucks that were not complete. There are a few bits still missing that I need to source or scratch - but it is leaving the in-progress shelf to the display area. The in progress thread
  20. I had the chance to take this pic a couple years ago on a trip, I thought it was pretty funny.
  21. Alain, this is the most realistic model truck and trailer I have ever seen. Your modeling skills and photography are amazing. I am surprised with your talent that your not a Model Railroader.
  22. Gator , This is a great project and I am excited to see what you have up your sleeve. I have seen a Lot of semi trucks with plywood plugs. Out in this part of the country sleepers attract mice and packrats. Keep up the fine work.
  23. Where I live in Montana, we only get mail on Friday and Monday.
