Hey Sam.... So I went thru those magazine found a few pics for ya. I didn't have everyone of the cars in the mags, some I didn't take cause they were in black and white and I added a few others just cause they were in color in these older magazine's I had. Hopefully they will help somewhat. if they don't sorry in advance.

Thanks again guys. Been Picking out which decals I am going to put on tomorrow after I get home from work. Don't want to over do it with decals but rather keep it simple. I should have pics tomorrow night hopefully

Very Nice Build. I think this turned out fantastic. I have to ask is this 1/16th or 1/25th scale and if its 1/16th where did you pick up the decals from?? also ment to ask are you going to be out at the Desert Scale Classic in April?? would be great to see this in person.

looking for tiny bolt heads/ nuts
Mooneyzs replied to LDO's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I was going to recommend Scale Hardware as well since they sell various sized for about $10.00 to $13.00 for a pack of 25. I recently ordered a good size order for my 1/16 scale funny car build and am real happy with their product. But not sure who to recommend for plastic bolt heads. -
Hey Sam, I have a couple of old drag racing magazines with a few of the kit in them if I believe, not positive. I will have to take a look after work today and I could take a pic of the magazine pages what I find and post for you.

Mooneyzs replied to Mooneyzs's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Thanks for the props guys. I am having a blast putting this kit together. Charlie I am working on the rear end mod that I mentioned to you. Derrick....Glad you understand the work that goes in to this. It feels like it isn't much progress but in the end it is making good progess. But you are right Lots of hours go into this. I will have to add the hours up and see what my total is so far since I started this build. I am kind of funny for keeping a time card on this build, I wanted to see how many hours I will have into it once its completed. you know I thought about posting this in big boyz and wasnt sure which to go with and thought there was more traffic in the drag racing section . If the mods need to move it there, they are more than welcome too. -
Dave, you do some outstanding work my friend. This dragster is beautiful and the craftmanship is top notch. I love seeing all of the detail you put into your builds. Hope you don't mind if I save some of the pics to use for references for some of my builds. Thanks for sharing your builds with us.

Great start to this build. Looking good so far. I bet this is a nice kit since it had new tooling made for it. I have been thinking of picking one up myself.

Mooneyzs replied to Mooneyzs's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Thanks Charlie.... Looks like I will be going with the design one of the High lighter on top for a paint scheme. I think it flows better. I have the main color just waiting for the other colors to get here wednesday Dan.... Thanks bud,I am hoping to have this painted by the Desert Scale Classic so I can bring it out, even if the kit isn't complete. I am looking forward to meeting these other drag racing fanatics at the show and hope they all come out. Brett... yea I had to go digging for this post, couldn't remember if I even posted it here since it was a year ago -
Thanks for answering the scale question. I was curious as to the box art on the model. Sorry I wasn't very clear when I asked the question was I. Sounds like the art work was pretty cool

Tinkered a little bit tonight with making new flanges for the Radius Rods to attach to the frame. Going to cut and sand off the existing mounts next, the tabs that stand vertical on the chassis. I know these pics don't show much work done but I am making progress little by little Once I get the tabs glued on to the frame I will be modifiying the mounts for the radius rod onto the front axle -
WOW! That is Gorgeous and it turned out fantastic. Love how clean it looks. Nice Job on this build
