This could turn ugly for the guy 'recycling' when the screen on the next urinal has a more interesting commercial but there is big football lineman using THAT urinal.

If you remember this show or this kit, you are old......I'm 52 but I remember the show. The box isn't the best but it is complete (partially assembled). Decals are dry transfer. Bear is included (!) but molded to the passenger seat. Would have preferred a model of Judy Landers.

Someone please take the chrome away from the designers

A neighbor has an orange Challenger with the black wheels....notta fan. I prefer the chrome wheels but they dont need to chrome accents on everything. -

Never understood why GM did such a half hearted effort on marketing the Chevrolet SS. Okay I am partial as I have a Pontiac G8 (not the one in the pic) as I just liked it in every way than the Charger (no offense Mopar guys), It's a black on black but someone really needs to take the chrome away from the designers at GM. They did a very good job adding the Pontiac 'family traits' to the rebadged Holden for the G8 but OMG.....they murdered the SS/current Holden. Headlights, upper grill, lower grill, driving light 'grills, fender vent, side windows....get out the JC Whitney catalog and have at it. And for good measure let Flavor Flav slap a Chevy logo on the grill (the Holden logo is a bit oversized as well but for some reason doesn't look as flashy). They didn't spare in the interior either. -
A small vending turn out but I always seem to with a much (!) lighter wallet after this show

Great idea Joe. You and your family will appreciate that more and more everyday. Here's the one my wife did for my parents, That is their wedding pic and their 50th anniversary pic side by side. It's autographed by dad's three half brothers and their wife/girlfriend, mom's brother and his wife, mom's maid of honor and the priest from their church. Mom passed unexpectedly of a stroke about six months later.

Had the fender logo and the right hood. I've seen it around for a couple month on the road but never stopped. I wish Round2 or Revell would update their tool. I'll take a yellow one -
He's finally laying with a women his age....

Wouldn't the display be on a computer as I believe that would bring new meaning to 'streaming' the show

I admit it's been several years since I've been to a concert. My last one was Steely Dan reunion tour when I got mid pavilion for about $30. Miscellaneous fees and service charges, over priced WalMart quality souvenir shirts, gouge parking rates finally made me call it quits. I was playing on the Internet this afternoon and saw a concert announcement for Niall Horan. I admit I have not clue who this is but check this Concert announced September 15, 2017........Tickets go on sale September 22, 2017....Concert itself is July 25, 2018. Seriously? Purchase tickets ten months in advance? I don't even know what I'm doing for dinner tomorrow night, let alone ten months from now

I recently bought a Carney (or Carney like) case that i was planning on using for the 1/43 models but where it's going (wall about the toilet in the man cave) i'm going to use it for something else so I need to turn it 90 degrees. In doing so, my mounting holes will now be on the right side only. How can I safely drill a new mounting hole without cracking the plastic?

Third day into the NHL season and Cincinnati Bell decides to make the NHL channel a separate subscription channel. Sleazy enough they pulled the Fox Sports - Nashville a couple years ago. Gee I wonder why people are pulling the plug on cable. (We used to have Dish Network but I swear they kept sending the guy with the lazy eye to line up the dish).

See The Usa In Your Electric Chevorlet

My ten year old son and I went to a higher end car show back in the spring.....Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Corvette Z06, etc....at a local Mercedes dealership. At the end of the show, the cars left at varying times and took off down the Interstate next to the dealership and there's something to be said for for hearing the music of a V-12 at full throttle. (Notta a fan of the automatic, but at Camaro ZL1 and the electronic shift is impressive). My son ran to the fence as he wanted to hear the the sound of the BMW i8....um, no. Acceleration was impressive but it lacks the 'look at me' over the top style of the other participants having just the 'whoosh' Sorta like the electric Harley....NO, NO, NO -
The marketing/SPAM calls are getting weirder!
HomerS replied to peteski's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Recently I've had them call my cellphone and ask for my wife by name. I said you have the wrong number and both times they say I can probably help them. They went on to solicit donations for charity. CLICK....and pushing the button to cancel the call doesn't give the same satisfaction as slamming down the receiver. -
From the Kentuckys Largest Slot car show and Model car Swap meet on Sunday. If you are into slot cars, this was a great show but was seriously lacking for the modelers. The red Porsche is sealed.......never saw one of these before. The yellow one is open but complete

Found at a local thrift store.... For several year now, most of the local Goodwills have been pricing stuff at close to what you can buy new for and now one of the other thrift stores is following suit. While I understand they want to maximize what they get, what they get was free and needs to be priced realistically. I usually donate any nascar kits I get to area church rummage sales. Let some kid build it and grab for a buck or two.

Their reunion tour was one of the last concerts I went to. Great show!! (Combination of life a.k.a kids and ticket prices closing in on a car payment stopped my concert attendance)

The Cincinnati Reds are bringing back the manager under another one yer contract! They are currently 19 games under .500 and 266-355 under this Manager. Glad my tax dollars are paying for this stadium.
