  1. Thanks guys
  2. Tom, do you know the date for GSL XXV? I need to start saving my coin for the airplane ticket...
  3. I just built this Revell Ranchero. These kits are much easier now that superglue is available. Trying to build these kits with regular model cement was a nightmare.
  4. I hate the 66 Chevy Nova, but Round2 will get a sale out of me just by adding the decals. They're like drug pushers.
  5. I found this picture online:
  6. Rob, yes their was an AMC Pacer on the table, but I refused to waste any pixels on an AMC of any kind.
  7. Round2 had some interesting stuff on display at the NNL East....
  8. You will all be glad to know that Round2 was displaying the following box art and built model at the NNL East over the weekend.
  9. They changed the V Rod artwork a little on the final box. Kinda dumb to call it a "V Rod" and then not use a Volkswagen engine. It's really more of a "C Rod"
  10. I've been to the NNL West twice, back when I lived in Massachusetts, and when I have the money to pay for the airfare.
  11. Great build of one of my favorite movie cars.
  12. This is good news Alan. Thanks for doing this, it'll be good for business and good for the hobby.
  13. Very nice, love the weathering and details.
  14. Like a lot of you, my dad inspired me to build models, but not in a good way... My dad was an alcoholic, and he very nearly killed me in a rage when I was four years old (although he was sober at the time). As you can imagine, I tried to avoid being near him as much as I could because of this. The apartment we lived in also happened to be literally two doors down from a great hobby shop. I bought my first model there when I was five (an Airfix 1/72 scale Fokker Tri-plane), and found that building models was a great way to entertain myself while I was in my room (and away from dad). Later on I joined the Boy Scout for the same reason - to get away from my dad for one whole weekend every month when my troop went on camping trips. I still use model building to get away from the stresses of life.
  15. The Charger vs. the Challenger in Death Proof, starting with the Ships Mast stunt.
  16. I made my headers from solder.
  17. I didn't make a derivative, but I tried to make mine more accurate. Turned it into a flipnose, with a 409 engine and the correct class designation on the window.
  18. Excellent. Please tell me we will see this at MassCar.
  19. Excellent work. Looks great all around.
  20. Anne, If you want to buy some model building stuff, you should head to Taunton on Sunday, March 17 for the MassCar Model Club show. Here is the show flyer - http://masscar.com/flyer2013.pdf
  21. Poop, now I need to rob ANOTHER bank...
  22. I'm not a big Olds fan, but I would definitely buy one of these.
  23. Nice job on that R&R VacuumCrap "model" (I use that term loosely.) And it's easy to see why Crosley didn't last long as an automaker. That thing is pretty fugly.
