  1. The best one that I could find in my stash is in the Revell 66 Chevelle wagons and 66 El Camino. It is a separate cover and looks right. It just does not have any bolt heads.
  2. Here is a pair of AMT 66 Corvette annuals. The coupe is built as a 327 and the roadster was modified and built as a stock 427 roadster.
  3. Here is a MPC 70 Camaro SS that I restored. It was a clean built up to start with.
  4. If Revell is really coming out with a stock 70 Charger R/T next year. I'll surly get one even though I have 3 70 Chargers currently (1 built Modelhaus kit, 1 unbuilt Modelhaus kit, and a nice MPC rebuilder.)
  5. AMT 67 Barracuda annual. MPC 68 Charger RT annual. 68 Impala SS. MPC 72 Camaro SS annual.
  6. AMT 67 Thunderbird Annual MPC 71 Cuda annual. AMT 59 Edsel Convertible Annual. AMT mix 1960 Thunderbird with 59 bumpers.
  7. I have many to restore and love to rebuild them so here are a few of my mine. AMT 60 Edsel convertible. This is pic is right off of ebay. This is a 61 Lincoln Continental annual. This is a 62 Lincoln Continental Annual. This is an AMT 62 Thunderbird Annual.
  8. Here is another rare kit that was almost mint. The box had gotten wet and the box and decals were ruined. I had no trouble building this one but the box had mold on it. So everything got a good wash.
  9. I have this one still sealed and have a thought about opening it. But since it is so rare and regularly breaks $200 on eBay for opened unbuilt kits. I have been temped to list it and see what happens. I have not seen another sealed one.
  10. I have some rare kits in my stash but most are not mint in box. I do have a few thou and plan to build them. Here is one I did open and build.
  11. I airbrushed it on. It is Testors Model Master British Green met. It may be available in a spray.
  12. Here is a Johan 71 Javelin AMX that I restored stock and Modelhaus provided both bumpers, tail light lens, wheels, and rear spoiler.
  13. Modelhaus resin MPC 70 Charger R/T built with a 440 Six Pack. I have one more Modelhaus 70 Charger to do as a Hemi!
  14. The removable hardtop was not available for the 53-55 Corvettes. First year was 56 along with outside door handles and roll up side windows. The aftermarket did come out with hard tops for that body style later on but not from GM. Also all 53 soft tops were black only. 54 soft tops are beige along with most 55s. A few 55s were made in yellow with a green interior and green soft top.
  15. Missing link now sells a trans kit of the 71 Cyclone Spoiler! It includes the front spoiler! Now I have two of those spoilers for my builds. That was the last item I needed to build this. The resin kit looks great in the photos I saw and includes the dash that I am using.
  16. Very Nice. I recently finished a 59 Edsel as well. Great model!
  17. This is a 1968 Super Bee built from the resin 68 Coronet R/T. I used two grills and only used the right halfs to make the grill removing the R/T.
  18. Here is my first Modelhaus kit that I built. It is a resin copy of the MPC 68 Charger R/T. I built this over 10 years ago.
  19. With Modelhaus announcing their retirement and the demand for their products weighing them down. I wanted to start a thread of finished builds of Modelhaus Kits and builds using their products. I can't think of a better way of saying "Thank You" to them by showing them what we have built with their products. I hope this thread grows and they get to see these builds. Please mention in the post what Modelhaus parts were used for the build, restoration or conversion.
  20. The announcement retirement date was May 2017. So we should still have 1 year left. However they are 5 months behind so when the sight opens back up I suggest getting your orders in.
  21. When I was researching these 69 427 Yenko Novas. All 37 Super Novas sold started as L78 396 Novas. 28 of them had the transplanted 427. 9 of them still had the factory L78 396 when sold. No 427 COPO Novas we done at the factory level. All Nova COPOs for 69 were the L78s. Some has SS trim and some did not. Only 9 real 427 Yenko Novas are know to still exist and since they were modified at the dealer they were done more to the customers liking.
  22. Revell does have it listed on their sight as an April release now! I will be picking one up for myself.
  23. I'm a little taken back by all the negativity toward Foose and one off customs. I really like stock 50s through 70s cars and that is mostly what I build so I too would love a stock Cadillac. I'm sure Revell knows what sells in this market segment. Stock Muscle cars are hot and Custom Muscle Cars don't do so well. Stock 32 Fords don't sell well but they can't build enough 32 Street Rods. The new 29 and 30 model As are seeing all kinds of Love. When I go to shows I don't see many stock built models but many customs, Lowriders, rat rods, ecetra. It is even hard to find any old builds with the stock parts as I like to restore them too. Don't get me wrong but I have been seeing more and more rat rodded Cadillacs of this era. I expect the Lowriders builders will, love it also.
  24. I think this is a good question and it seems the responses are all mockery. So come on guys. What model kits have been produced that best exemplify a perfect model kit? I agree that the Fujimi Enthusiast series is a good suggestion. I have built the Countach and have a few Porsche 356s. With a parts count over 250 they are amazing but very finicky to put together. I have observed that most rivet counting is about the body. If that is right then the critics move on to the chassis and interior. Think JoHan and MPC body's, they are regarded as better but the rest is lacking.
  25. Glad to see this is of use to you guys. My build has stalled but only because I just can't seam to pick a color for it. All the chrome is redone and I have the decals I needed for it from the Model King kits. My 70 also has all the chrome redone too and I still need to do these mods to it. Just like many of you I have lots of projects in the works and have been getting many of them restarted.
