  1. Very cool! I love their products!
  2. Thanks fellas! I'll be getting back to work shortly. We just got back from vacation Thursday night so after I get caught up on a couple of things, I'll get back at it.
  3. Nice job on this!
  4. I think it was a Franklin Mint car. I got it off of eBay. It was a red convertible.
  5. I had this exact car in high school! Only difference was mine was a bench seat, column shift car. But same colors and everything! Nice job!!
  6. I like where this one is headed!
  7. In other news...it looks like I've got a lot more work to do. I've spent the last two days researching, looking this thing over, and scratching my head. I believe that the rear of the car is too short behind the rear wheel well and also right in front of the rear wheel well. I'm going to be going on vacation with the family for a week and a half and when I get back, I'll get down to brass tacks and see what's going on. Most likely though, it looks like more surgery...
  8. That's a great idea actually. I might do something like that.

Great stuff but the '57 is what wags my tail!
  10. Schwinn Stingray! Very cool!
  11. Great builds!
  12. That's awesome! I love it!
  13. What a great lineup!!
  14. Awesome work!!
  15. That's awesome!
  16. Which is why I built mine into a gasser! Lol.
  17. The Doors, The Byrds, The Beach Boys, Paul Revere & The Raiders, CSNY, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lovin' Spoonful, Mamas & Papas, Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, Simon & Garfunkel, Sly & The Family Stone, Jefferson Airplane.....just a few to prove that not all of the great talent came from across the pond in the 60's.
  18. You should be hookin' a brother up with one of them! Lol
  19. Have to agree with Harry here. My personal favorites are Revolver and Rubber Soul. They were starting to experiment and it's the perfect combination of the early music with the later sound.
  20. Got the resin pieces back a few weeks ago but have been busy and today was my first chance to play around with them. First I had to continue to clean up the fenders. Not because of the resin castings but because they were cast from the diecast pieces that needed cleaning up to begin with. As suspected, it was MUCH easier to clean up the resin pieces than it ever would've been cleaning up the diecast pieces. Once that was done, I was ready to install the fenders. I glued styrene sheet to the inside of the body to add strength to the fender-to-body joint. There was a bit of time spent making sure everything lined up but overall...it went pretty smooth. There's a lot of body work to do now BUT...it's starting to look like a car again!
  21. I have loved what Moebius has brought to the model building world but I do wish they'd make life just a bit easier when it comes to the glass on their kits.
  22. If you're new to their music, I'd probably recommending starting from the beginning. That way you can experience their transformation and growth the way that their fans did in the 60's. When you say "the blue album", are you talking about the second of their greatest hits albums? The 67-70 album (I think it is)
  23. Yuck. Lol
