Ever since Beverly aka Baby Girl was 8yrs old has always wanted a Super Duty 4x4 and MUST have a Power Stroke diesel, last night with the help of Ol' dad and the big help of the owner of the dealership (couldn't work for a better person) I work for I was able to make this lil' girls dream come true.....I present to you "Baby Girl -n- Dustie"
Not 100% happy?!?!??!....if I could turn out something like this I would be 200% happy, beautiful work and detail you have done and the blue frost tint on the windshield is a very nice touch!
...... I had no clue other than it looked like a Bertone type design......so yeah I had toooooooooo much time on my hands .....It is a beautiful car....
This is my very first attempt to actually work with a resin body,I found this at a local car swap meet with donor kit for $24 so I figured I would give it a try....and also my first try with Fotki being with all the issues I have had with photobucket......so I hope I have done this right.
Basically it's just going to be a curb side build and still deciding on what type of company/use it will carry when done......if I get this done.....any comment or suggestions please by all means do so being like I said this is my first resin.
Hope to get some body color on this thing this week end if all goes right....
I have both kits as well (to build) and the early one is very primitive compared to the newer and I agree with Scott as I love the full bumper version and I am trying to attempt, again trying to graph the early nose piece to the later to modify it to accept the full bumper version.....
I could have swore I had a link to a company that did short track model car parts that had these unless I was dreamin'.......looking for 70's Camaro rubber/polyethylene short track nose...
When I first heard the news of this model coming out and all the hype I had no interest in this kit at all.......until now after seeing the video......sooooooo many ideas were going through in my head as I watch this.....thanks for the great review and converting me into the "hype".
Not my actual paint job but nevertheless my favorite,my daughters very first build/paint right before she turned 11,not one sag, run,or dry spot on this car........love to know her secret......
