  1. ........In my opinion this was one of the finest F1 cars ever made and you did such beautiful justice to this model !!
  2. I have a old parts book (64-72 Ford truck) with illustrations and I can check on the 240,its been years since I have seen one but I think the sump was mid-ship towards the front....
  3. The one thing I miss and found helpful was the "new content" off to the right that shows the new topics,I see the new content button above but it looks like I get all new content including comments to old post,I tried playing around with it to narrow it down but still not getting it or is there something I am doing wrong?
  4. ..........Hey Anthony any luck on the AARP modelers forum yet???? I have my membership card ready to use!!! ...............as far as the "train wreck" thread thing is I think the truck end seems to be over looked a lot ....
  5. The thing that concerns me is what happens in the meantime. If the current members (us) don't adapt to this new format then we're apparently S O L. I just read a reply from the Big Kahuna that wasn't to encouraging. ......But it ain't like we got much of a choice though......
  6. .........I don't think I could have said it any better..............
  7. ...............Oh well............
  8. I read end of July/Aug.......
  9. James I am sorry to see it get locked, just a flat out shame because all you did was a simple post of a OUTSTANDING model......just isn't right.....why not just delete the stupid comments and leave the rest so and so others who appreciate the work and effort on this model can comment and praise........
  10. Ohhhhhh I need to get a set of these as well,I am wanting to make a replica of my dad first new vehicle which was a '71 F100 custom.....thanks Ben for asking and thanks guys for the answers!!
  11. THATS IT!!!!!! Mr. Myers!!!!! you always come through!!!!
  12. I love the "dirt road" look so real looking...and agree with others would like to see more of the cruiser also.
  13. I had a Revell one many years ago of the '69 Vette 427 where on the box was listed "429" I kept the box but somehow it got misplaced or lost in the move or more than likely trashed when my garage collapsed .
  14. I think its got to do with whoever is handling the issue,I can't speak for Round II but with Revell I had a few issues with kits, first was with the "Snap" Peterbilt , the chrome was a mess one email on the website and had the replacement parts within a week but a few months ago the local model club my daughter and I look soooooooooooooo forward to go to had a "Club Build" and picked the 'cuda and I went to the local hobby shop and purchased 2 of the kits, one for Baby Girl n one for me and upon opening them found the A pillar was badly bent/warped and the second one was even worse so I took some pics and sent the request and two weeks later I get a response that they needed more info and must be mailed in with the form which I did and finally about 3 weeks ago I get two new bodies......needless to say I ain't gonna get this thing don't by August deadline.....but the good news is they did make it right......
  15. Gator I am deeply saddened to hear of William passing ... Baby Girl n I will always remember when he told us the news that she was M.O.M. ...... William thank you for your service to keep us safe and also for being a great man.... rest in peace my friend....
  16. While I don't agree with every kit that is posted that should come back or be made just as I am sure others feel the same or differently or some would feel negative about a kit I would like to see come back/made...that's the beauty of the hobby ~but~ I do regardless of the kit subject matter I do enjoy seeing the old box art that Greg takes the time out to find and post and I do look forward to his post either on kits or just some of the off the wall stuff he finds........Greg I thank you....keep 'em coming.....BTW I remember my dad maaaaaaaaaany years ago had the '36 kit that was pictured first......until my at that time tiny hands got ahold of it............
  17. Luck be with you my friend....all will come out fine.
  18. Amen.......Couldn't said it any better myself Carl !!!
  19. I got 2 of each and mine are all good as far as warp/sink marks etc. and sure there are some issues with it being "correct" but in reality what kit is perfect for the most part?....speaking for myself I am just thrilled to see a new kit on the market....again just my thoughts and opinions.
  20. Sweet fender job!!
  21. Didn't see it today but last week when Baby Girl n I were in St. Petersburg Beach for vacation,it was parked in the V.I.P. section at the resort we were at. Baby Girl was the one who noticed it first and she was quite thrilled being it was her first in person Ferrari .........
