  1. Simple arithmetic, how 'bout watching where you're going when you're crossing the street, walking in a parking lot, pushing a shopping cart, etc.???
  2. What pleased me today was meeting up with some friends and participating at an annual car show. Lots more friends at the show, great DJ playing rock 'n roll, food vendors with dogs, burgers, beefs, pizza, and ice cream too. The weather was great and there were a lot of sweet lookin' rides when it came to checkin' out the cars. Came home to cook steak 'n bake on the grillle and then got to play with my almost 3 grandson in the back yard. He can tire this "old man" out.
  3. Portillo's Beef Sandwich around here is $5.49, and I usually can get lunch for $10 or less. I haven't been to Portillo's since yesterday, and I had one of their salads for a change.
  4. One tattoo from '67, a "flip phone," and I still use a MAP as it worked in the 60's and it still does today.
  5. I've been using spray cans for MANY years and never stored them upside down. I don't recall having any problems by storing them right side up. Besides all the stores stock all of their spray cans right side up also.
  6. While I don't have a Hobby Town USA store near me, I do know of three that are a bit of a ride. One must have a boomin' business as they are into R/C trucks "big time" and have an indoor track as well. R/C is "big money" as I've seen a number of hobby shops in years past expand their R/C departments quite a bit not only to handle the sale of many vehicles, parts, tires, and supplies, but also to do repair work for their customers.
  7. Lookin' good so far, as I just love dem Mopars!
  8. I'll have to check my local Hobby Lobby as have a couple of gift cards from there.
  9. Awesome to say the least. Just how early do you have to get up to get a "money shot" like that?
  10. Very nice build on that Plymouth Jim, and I just love dem Mopars!
  11. So sorry to hear this, may he R.I.P. as he will be missed by many of us.
  12. I built mine a few years ago, and it was a fun build. I used the tires from the Revell '41 Willys Street Rod and I used Spaz-Stix for the tank.
  13. I've used HOK paints before, and what you described should be lacquer and a true candy color. Remember that candy colors are basically clear paints with a percentage of color mixed in with it.
  14. Well then, that's a whole new ballgame isn't it?
  15. I saw a "test shot" built up at our last club meeting a few weeks ago, and it looked pretty good. How accurate it was, I really wasn't lookin'.
  16. You mean to say that the MRI can find some people "empty headed???"
  17. Steve, that's a really nice project you've got going there, and I know you you'll do it justice. I owned a '69 Coronet Super Bee back- in- the- day that I bought brand new, as I love those B-body cars.
  18. Guess you deserve a pat on the back. I have cousins living there for over 50 years.
  19. I don't remember if I had seen that car back-in-the-day as many "big name" cars and drivers came up this way back in the mid-60's. Your project is lookin' real good.
  20. My wife and I occasionally play at the casinos, but very little lately. Sometimes we would go to the "riverboat" and play, or if we're on a cruise ship we'll play, and our trip to the southwest ended up in Vegas this past June and we played a bit. However we do it for entertainment purposes only. Sometimes we won't play for a year or so. People who think they're gonna win "big money" are fools, as the odds are against them. Why is Las Vegas still "booming" after all these years, because there have been lots of lucky gamblers walkin' away with big money??? Guess again.
  21. I've had 'bout 6 or so MRI's over the years and for me it was no sweat at all. Yeah I used to use tanning beds when I was younger too.
  22. Beautiful job on that Modena 360 Spyder. Hopefully I'll build mine some day???
  23. I would use Devcon 5-Minute Epoxy as it dries clear and has a strong bond.
