  1. Some people don't want to spend the money to water their lawns, and some people don't have the money either.
  2. I recently ordered a new truck and had done in RED, yep not maroon, metallic red, etc. Eye poppin' fire engine red, arrest me red, flame red, etc. It's easy to pick out in the parking lot full of black, white, silver, gunmetal, aluminum, grey, and champagne colored vehicles.
  3. I tried a place the other night called Smashburger. The burger was good, the onion strings and chocolate malt were great. And there was a "cruise night" nearby.
  4. Do you mean these, as I've had them for a couple of weeks now?
  5. I worked with a guy who was from Wisconsin and he complained 'bout the hike in tollway fees. I told him that the way to avoid those fees, was not to drive on the tollway. Very simple.
  6. I was told that the people were using regular unleaded and that their car ran better than when using E85 fuel.
  7. I know people who have used E85 fuel and said that they get worse gas mileage with it, so there's really no savings.
  8. Maybe he means Oswego???
  9. I had heard that "ventilated disc rotors" are only good for road racing. I have no idea if it's true or not. Just sayin'.
  10. Yes, I bought this kit in memory of my very FIRST AMT kit that I got at a Boy Scout Christmas party back in '59, and it is in my display case in the box. I have plenty of other kits to build.
  11. You have to deal with prices in the $500 - $2,000 dollar range? Because it's YOUR choice. I'm into the hobby for fun and not to drain my bank account. I don't like spending that kinda of money for car repairs on my real car, yet alone on a model kit.
  12. Great job on that Bandit build, and I've used guitar string several times for antennas.
  13. What pleased me today was doing my third "cruise night" in three days and seeing lots of cars and friends, enjoying the music, taking photos, and "hot dogging" it on the ride home.
  14. After you're "gone" do you really think it matters? Enjoy your plastic while you can and don't worry 'bout the future as it's not for you to see.
  15. I'd check with Chief Joseph at Fireball Designs.
  16. I sometimes miss my hot tub as it was fun while it lasted ( 12 years). Yes even on a hot day, it was great to get into 95 degree water and then crank it up to 104 degrees and soak with a cold beverage also.
  17. What an awesome sunrise Ed, I think I'll use it as my desktop background for awhile, and thanks!
  18. Those Centerlines look great on race cars, otherwise I'd prefer other wheels to them. JMHO
  19. I'm just lovin' those Mopars! Bring 'em on!
  20. Hmmm, lots of colors there, but I would lean toward the Pastel Yellow myself.
  21. You're right, as I'm guilty of that myself I hate to say. It's something I really don't think about often as I've been so busy around here lately. Thanks for the reminder.
  22. Looks like we're gettin' a good amount of rain tonight Joe. It'll be good for the lawn & the shrubbery
  23. Wait a minute Jim, I was there first, and then came Portillo's. I guess that luck is on my side??? LOL!
  24. Very nice, looks like Deuces are "wild."
