I was at my local Hobby Lobby today lookin' for Revell's neew '30 Model A Coupe, but it seem they don't have them as yet. I did notice that they have their "Fall" items on display already along with some Christmas wreaths. Kinda early isn't it???
The '68 Coronet is a really nice kit as I've had one from Modelhaus in my "stash" for a couple of years now. A lot of modeler's cry for a '68 Coronet kit, but not too many have ordered the one from Modelhaus as far as I know. Too bad!
Really Richard you think that Modelhaus kits & parts will show up on EVIL-bay??? LOL! That's a "given." I've thought of that awhile back, but I'm way too busy to buy & sell Modelhaus stuff. I'll be thinnin' out the herd some more soon as I have a lot more than I can or will build.
I have a few Modelhaus kits already and who knows when I'll get around to building them, so I'm certainly not going to order more, so I can stack them up like I do my plastic kits.
I used to listen to my music LOUD enough to "feel" it, and I'm sure that contributed to my tinnitus among other things. Now I try to avoid loud noises as much as I can, as they can make my tinnitus worse.
We sure did set off fireworks when I was a kid. One kid had his birthday on the 4th so we always celebrated with fireworks on the street corner while our dads would hang out in the gin mill. They were great times. I even used fireworks into the late 60's but no later than that as I recall.
Great job on that build Erik, as I have that kit somewhere in my stash. I was lucky to see the Chrysler Turbine Car when I visited the Chrysler Museum back in '02. I just love dem Mopars!
Great video as I recognize a couple of cars there as I've done a couple of car shows in Downer's Grove. The Friday night cruise wouldn't work out for me though. Thanks.
