  1. No I don't mind, God is the best painter I know of.
  2. Yes we're happy to see your photos, as you're able to capture some of God's paintings with your lens.
  3. I usually make my OWN list as sometimes I don't think that my Honey would know where to start. I like to get things done.
  4. My retirement is keeping me quite busy to say the least, and for some reason I'm not building (finishing) nearly as many model kits as I had hope to during my retirement. Guess with all the other things that I'm doing, I'm not nearly as motivated as I'd hope that I would be.
  5. I saw the new LAWMAN kit at my local Hobby Lobby today and it was priced at $39.99. Yikes! Even though I had a $25 gift card and a 40% off coupon I took a "pass" on buying that kit as I'm still tryin' to "thin the herd" here at home.
  6. Sorry to hear the news Harry, hang in there as we're all here for you. The best of luck to you.
  7. Sorry for your loss Ray, as I know it's a tough go when we lose a family member.
  8. While I haven't built a tank kit since the 50's, looks like you "nailed it" with that brand new Sherman. Great job!
  9. Lookin' good, real good!
  10. More dollars than sense? When a person can "flash the cash" and make a purchase, any purchase it is totally up to them to do what ever they want with their purchase NO MATTER what anyone else thinks about it.
  11. That Grand Dominion Show in Mundelien was a great show, and I wish that I had seen you there, maybe next year? Great photos and thanks for sharing.
  12. Yes the '68 440 was turquoise and the '69 440 was Street Hemi Orange.
  13. Wow, you must have used a lot of tape, and had a lot of patience. Beautiful work on those interiors and your models are always pleasing to the eye as well.
  14. I too was recently (June) at the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley, Zion and notice some trash on the grounds also. It is very disgusting to see that people don't give a darn and/or teach their kids some respect for our country and its wonders.
  15. I agree with you on that ACE, and a LOT of people are slobs. They don't care ''bout anyone but themselves. A number of years ago I was walking and casting around the perimeter of a small lake and the amount of garbage that was on the shore was mind boggling. I seen people leave the drive-thru window and throw there garbage out their car window, really??? It's no wonder the American Indians don't want their country back, as it's in a pretty sad state.
  16. LOTS of detail, as there are several builders whose work is photographed and it looks REAL! I also believe that there is NO perfect model, and if the builder doesn't point out the flaw(s), most of the viewers will not find it.
  17. What kind of job do I have? Let's see as I do some house cleaning, some laundry, some cooking, take out the garbage & recyclables, trim bushes & trees, mow the lawn, shovel and plow the snow, put up and take down the deck furniture, take my better half shopping sometimes, go to the post office, pay the bills, hire outside help at times, water the lawn, work at a local food pantry, and I'm sure I can come up with 6 - 12 more items as well as I also wash windows too. Thank God I'm retired so I have time to do all this stuff.
  18. Back in the 60's, 70's, and early 80's it was great for other things besides medical issues.
  19. Many years ago my son had asked me for a computer, so I gave him a pad of paper and a pencil.
  20. I have some Tramadol and it works pretty good for me. Try taking Vicodin and washing it down with a beer, you'll feel better as I know I certainly did.
  21. I prefer the stripe.....................................................
  22. The '69 Super Bee did come with the Power Bulge hood, and the '69 1/2 Super Bee had the Six Pack hood.
  23. And there you have it folks, it'll be here long before you finish all the kits in your stash.
