  1. Nice job on that Chevelle, as it is my favorite year Chevelle and I like my Chevy's 1966 and earlier.
  2. NOT, you'll have to come a bit further southeast in order to catch the aroma of Portillo's. LOL!!!
  3. Looks like the owner has a rather "large family."
  4. I was "out & about" with my better half this mornin' and of course we had to stop at Portillo's for lunch. I didn't want to, but I just couldn't resist it. Luckily we got there early before the "prime time" lunch crowd got there.
  5. I use pre-wired distributors and magnetos from M.A. D. and it works well for me.
  6. Michael, then what's a "pony car" a Cadillac? And what's a "sports car" a Checker???
  7. Guess one just has to pick an area to live, and adapt to the conditions. If you should move to get away from those conditions, there will just be other conditions. So it's six of one, or a half a dozen of the other.
  8. That seems to be true Ray, there are many natural hazards like snow, sand storms, tornados, hurricanes, typhoons, tsunamis, extreme heat or cold, ice storms, sleet, hail, floods, mud slides, wildfires, draught, and probably several more that I've missed.
  9. Hmmmmmmmm, not bad, not bad at all.
  10. What an awesome build on that funny car Guy, but it would look WAY better on MY shelf. LOL!
  11. Spring? You bet, but it's just a little slow getting here. Seems like winter has a hard time "letting go." LOL! We made it this far, so what's another few more days, or another week or two?
  12. If the drivers (cry-babies) took out their "fat wallets" before they climbed into their race cars, they might not weigh so much either.
  13. SOME people, but not this guy.
  14. Go online and you'll see what year it is. Try: www.carsonline.com
  15. Wow, that's and awesome collection of "MInts" that you have there Ben. And Ron, it takes quite a bit of work to build a plastic kit to the standards of the Danbury and Franklin Mints with all the working features and excellent finishes. I don't think they're "overpriced" and that most modelers can build Danbury quality for less than what they've asked for their Mints.
  16. Muscle cars DID NOT include Mustangs, Camaros, 'Cudas, Challengers as they are "pony cars." They DID NOT include Corvettes as they are "sports cars."
  17. Good thing that you didn't pull out your '67 Impala yet Harry, as we got a dusting of snow this morning.
  18. I don't blame you Harry, as that IS quite a price hike. I would pay that for a particular Danbury Mint that I'm lookin' for, but not the '35 Ford Coupe.
  19. I use interior paints from Eastwood, and they come out great right over the plastic with no primer needed. The paint is SEM Colorcoat Flexible Coating Portola Red. I've used this on my '64 Dodge & Plymouth as well as my '65 Dodge Coronet.
  20. I got a big bill for repairs on my truck today. That was no fun. Of course there was a '70 Plymouth Superbird in the shop as well, in Vitamin C Orange.
  21. Sounds like a good project for you and your new grandchild Harry.
  22. It doesn't seem to open Jim? Got it, thanks.
