What a great project. Great choice on the wheels. The red really looks great.

It's unfortunate that when a post is quoted that the default would be that only text would be quoted. There are really very few cases that the pictures need to be repeated. Repeating only the text would be a sensible way to solve the problem.

Sorry guys haven't been working on this. Been having issues with my right shoulder. I'm getting physical therapy to get through it. I'm really looking forward to getting back on this. -
Done. No issues.

Prayers to the Family's of American air line mid air crash
bobthehobbyguy replied to ranma's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
What a monumental tradegy. My thoughts and prayers go out to all impacted by this. I will wait to hear what the NTSB finds from the investigation. I remember a while back when the air show tragedy occurred and everyone was just sure of who was at fault. -

Spend a dollar to save a nickel. -
I took general engineering classes in Junior college bc (before computers). Calculations were done with slide rules and you needed to estimate that you were gett8ng a reasonable answer. I still do math with pencil and paper and will also compare answers with a calculator. It's important to know how to do things without the aid of technology.

The Rise of the Model Making Celebrity
bobthehobbyguy replied to Bugatti Fan's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I don't really understand all of this animosity toward those who create content for youtube. Why is it such an issue that they can make a few bucks off of the efforts. Nobody complains if one writes a magazine gets paid for submitting an article. As far as getting kit samples if one is going to do lots of reviews it's unlikely they are going to buy all the kits themselves. As long as the reviewer makes it known that it was supplied by the manufacturer I don't see an issue. -

WIP Cannonball 2025 group build Maverick

OK got something to show. I mated the back part of the Cobra to the interior tub(just tacked in place needs to be mounted permanently). I also added a slight flare to the rear fenders) they will be blended in to be less notable. Next up will be to get the chassis mocked up to see what's next. -
Yeah i agree Bill. However besides the violating the airspace there are other potential charges. The drone operator recklessly endangered the lives of the pilots. The lost of the plane to fight t he fire which has taken lives could also contribute to the death toll. Not coming forward is not going to help them. I also suspect that the video was being taken to share on social media to generate likes so it is extremely likely the drone operator will be found.

Coming this year from Atlantis models

Great to see this kit back. As far as a new body goes it's more likely something that a 3d printer would do. Don't see that there would be enough of a market to justify the cost of producing a new body.
