bobthehobbyguy replied to slusher's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I think it happens to all of us at some point in time. It's a hobby and not something you have to finish by a deadline. You will get your inspiration back. -

Amazing work on the front suspension. -
Although you could probably be compensated for the inconvenience I don't see that it would be worth your while. You.may get a judgement but may not be able to collect. And in addition you may have attorney costs that you would probably not get compensated for.

Not a surprise. That's why I don't bother with paid tv. Plenty of quality content on YouTube for no cost. Yes there are ads but they are on the paid networks also. -

Major Board Maintenance is Coming (now done)
bobthehobbyguy replied to Dave Ambrose's topic in How To Use This Board
Got my fingers, toes , and eyes crossed that the gods of updating are in a good mood. Thanks for keeping the board running smoothy. -
Again my point has been missed. If it is not feasible to do the magazine on a bimonthly schedule then go quarterly like clockwork. Not having a consistent schedule is not good for the longevity of the magazine which is facing the challenges that all print magazines are facing these days. And I'm still looking for an answer to when 226 will be shipped.
-
It's really disappointing that there seems to be little interest in maintaining a consistent schedule for the magazine when it had acheived a more regular schedule a while back. It now seems to becoming a lot less consistent. I would rather see the magazine on a quarterly basis rather than a erratic schedule. My sub ends with 228 and am not sure I will bother renewing.

Unfortunately not meeting the advertised schedule is not just an inconvenience. The magazine survives to some.part on advertising and for the most part the advertisers expect to see their ad at a specific time. Rather than saying the magazine is a bimonthly when it isn't has the potential for losing advertisers. It would be better to go to a quarterly schedule and adhere without deviation.
