Exactly. Actually there is another point of confusion. On the editorial page for issue 225 shows issue 225--May/June 2024 which is really going to create unnecessary confusion.

Fine with me. I asked a simple question and offered a constructive solution and got nothing but hostility.

Again my point has been missed. If it is not feasible to do the magazine on a bimonthly schedule then go quarterly like clockwork. Not having a consistent schedule is not good for the longevity of the magazine which is facing the challenges that all print magazines are facing these days. And I'm still looking for an answer to when 226 will be shipped.

It's really disappointing that there seems to be little interest in maintaining a consistent schedule for the magazine when it had acheived a more regular schedule a while back. It now seems to becoming a lot less consistent. I would rather see the magazine on a quarterly basis rather than a erratic schedule. My sub ends with 228 and am not sure I will bother renewing.

Unfortunately not meeting the advertised schedule is not just an inconvenience. The magazine survives to some.part on advertising and for the most part the advertisers expect to see their ad at a specific time. Rather than saying the magazine is a bimonthly when it isn't has the potential for losing advertisers. It would be better to go to a quarterly schedule and adhere without deviation.

Actually it's been 2 and a half months. And if the magazine meet its bimonthly schedule I wouldn't have to ask the question.

Issue 225 was mailed August 25 and I received it Sept 1. Therefore November 1 would have been 2 months which matches the bimonthly schedule.

Nice work. Sorry to hear about the final issues with final assembly. I've had it happen to me a few times. Unfortunately hindsight is 20-20. It can be frustrating but you now know not to do that again.
