  1. Great project. The green and white look great. Looking forward to more.
  2. Any updates?
  3. Nice work.
  4. Might make sense to buy in smaller quanities. Walmart and dollar stores small tubes. Unopened can be stored in the fridge to help with the heat problem. Not sure if thinning with acetone would compromise the bonding strength.
  5. Never heard of it being done at home. Regular plating would be easier. Look into the process jsed for bronzing baby shoes.
  6. Fireworks stands opened yesterday. Idiotic thing to do because of the drought conditions. Hopefully we can make it through without any major incidents. Ironically its the do gooder organizations fund raising programs. Argh.
  7. Missed this thread before. Great tip for the pullies. Great job on the weathering.
  8. Telling what the issues are and possibility how to fix them however is one thing but its the way some of the comments have been presented that is the issue. The old adage of its not what you say but how you say it comes to mind. Also there were a lot of things that they didn't get right in past kits. The AMT 32 Fords that were all sectioned. What about some of the kits that were sized to fit a specific box size rather than scaled properly.
  9. Very true. The biggest lack in the reviews is what they got right. We are getting some great models for the pricepoint that has been established.
  10. Robert great points. The financial incentive is not allowed on Kickstarter. You also need to do a campaign with the goal of 100 percent. All in all still not an easy task.
  11. Did this evertget finished?
  12. Looking good. Nice work on the hood.
  13. Definitely looks like something Barris would do.
  14. Yup the driveshaft is neat.
  15. I think the big part was they could keverage off the 57 ford kit. Not sure if the numbers would have worked if they had to start from scratch. Also I would think good sales of the first version also helped.
  16. Congrats Rob always good to be recognized for being a good worker.
  17. I put them in the order I did because first and foremost whoever takes over has to have the skills to do it. Second a component buyer is also necessary for the crowdfunding proposal to work and for the Holthauses to be confortable to the potential buyer will keep the good name.
