  1. and that is almost certainly not a model kit
  2. So no one knew why kits were so expensive down there? Is that a "new" problem?
  3. "Strange. I don't see anybody writing off the hobby." Nope..it's clearly going along just fine.,more quality kits and parts than ever not only here, but internationally. Perhaps if Tom did a bit of research he'd feel better about the hobby?
  4. Apparently folks here know their history and what words mean....a lot better..
  5. well not really Tom... au·to·mo·tive ˌôdəˈmōdiv/ adjective of, relating to, or concerned with motor vehicles. Not really a history buff huh?

  7. I use my debit card too, instead of cash... but I rent cars frequently and they won't accept debit cards, and you can't rent a car without a major credit card. I haven't paid any interest in years and I've never paid for a credit card either.
  8. Agreed....great service,fair prices and I almost always get free,prompt delivery.

  14. Well Chuck you've saved me from a $25 impluse buy...thanks. (Actually I'd have been a bit embarrassed to bring the S&H labeled box up to the check stand....but that's just me.)
  15. Yes..and some engines were unavailable in California back then. Now pre 75 cars n trucks are exempt from testing, but that is fairly recent.

  19. yep...a little surprise with no mention in the instructions or on the box.
  20. good question...I've never noticed the carb on one of those before. Every reference I could find said it was a 4 bbl...
