  1. I would like to see a six-door, dually, long bed pickup. I am completely serious.
  2. A Nailhead? Another great engine for an old school rod or custom. Nice.
  3. A long, long time ago, I would take some minor thing out of someone’s grocery cart when they weren’t looking. Just imagining them getting home and thinking “I KNOW I put X in the cart”. Now I’m just a jerk on the internet.
  4. It’s super simple. A hanging file system. My workbench is an interior door from a commercial building, supported by a pair of 2-drawer file cabinets.
  5. I read Borg Warner 4speed, but did it go by another name? Thanks. Lee
  6. I found a place that makes transmission adapters. I would love to put a built 6R80 behind it. Let’s talk about a custom scan for that. Not asking for a discount. You have tools and skills that I don’t. There’s value in that.
  7. I found my copy of the January 1991 FSM. It was a pretty good article. I like that he included building a display stand. Here are a few pics.
  8. Yes, but the manifold is like a unicorn. Wait, I don’t want a unicorn ? And wow am I excited about a model of the M119. I really wish I could get a look at that manifold. It makes me wonder about cutting up the upper half of the factory manifold to get a supercharger manifold. Making one like in the pic could eliminate the heat soak issue with a supercharger between cylinder banks.
  9. Oh dang. I must have one. As a street car.
  10. This intake manifold and supercharger for a Mercedes-Benz M119 DOHC V-8. And a good M119, also. That engine is built by Stern Garage in Germany. They don’t sell the manifold by itself, just a complete engine for US $25k
  11. Two sets of Learjet 23 tip tanks sent by Priority Mail. I don’t need anything for them. Just help someone else out when you can.
  12. This magazine has an article by Bob Steinbrunn on detailing a Williams Brothers 1/8 scale engine. It’s a radial, not a rotary, but a cool article nonetheless. I believe he had an article on a rotary, also. He even built a display stand that looks like one that would hold a real engine in a museum. https://finescale.com/issues/1991/january-1991
  13. I don’t need anything. It would be cool to see photos of your projects. I’m about to get started on this in 1/48. The decal sheet says 1/32. I got markings for these two planes in two scales.
  14. I copied your address. It would be a good idea remove that info from your post. Someone with bad intentions might use it.
  15. Just telling you what happened when I posted a pic of a taboo subject I bought with a really pretty crest.
  16. Also the thing that’s in the safe is taboo. You might get threatened with being banned just for mentioning it.
  17. I have two of these that I bought for parts. I don’t need the tip tanks. You’re welcome to them.
  18. I just came back to say I bought one of those. I can’t wait for it to arrive. It has been years since I used an airbrush, and it was hobby enamels for military planes. I’m really looking forward to using lacquers.
  19. Air volume is not a problem with a 3000psi nitrogen tank.
  20. What is a good choice for painting 1/8 scale cars, 1/16 tanks, 1/18 planes, etc? I have a regulator to get low pressure from nitrogen tanks, FWIW. Thanks
  21. That would be one heck of an impressive model. I mean gee, with good cross-section drawings, it would be *somewhat* easy to make. It think it could also be done as a 3D print, in multiple pieces. I say go for it. People would remember it forever.
  22. It would be fourteen feet long in 1/25.
